Thank you kindly
Well, I guess I'm going to do Stormsong Valley -> Drustvar -> Tiragarde just to avoid the mass of people doing the zones in the order you recommended.
Nice! Excited to begin a new expansion, as always!
more levels and more levels and leveling is so so slow....
Snowball's chance in hell that I'll enable war mode - the chance of being ganked overrides the small benefit gained from the XP buff. Also, I'll vendor the useless greens to get gold, because the gold from Expolsum -> gear will assuredly be less, especially with the litany of mats necessary for the crafts. I'll be selling every single crafting mat I come across, let the gold flow!
With how the instancing works, you'd probably experience the same amount of people regardless of where ya go lol.
you literally can't be ganked in your leveling areas.
Except the chance of running into the opposing faction while everybody is still leveling is super low. There's not going to be hardly alliance in Zandalar, for instance. It's basically just 10% less work you have to do. Once you're 120 just turn it off. Clearly you're free to do whatever you want, but really I don't expect to run into any alliance while questing with the Zandalari.

I'll consider it.
During the alpha I did tiragarde first, just because of the plot envolving the proudmore family. "oh, lets organize our capital and then go to other places". But Drust-Tir-Storm makes sense, too. I liked the Drustvar plot a lot. =p\r\rI'll use Aggramar's Stride and Tyelca, Ferren Marcus's Stature.\rThe necklace with shield sounds good, to.\r\rI play both sides, so Its much more fun doing different maps during the leveling. :D
don't be Sheep - be the Shepherd...
Thanks for the guide. My only thing is I tend not to level quickly in an expansion. I prefer to take my time. Unlike some people I like doing quests, leveling, and enjoying the story. At least the first time. After that, I do just want it done as fast as possible.
I think Zuldazar should be either first or last. It takes the longest to get through, because the quests have you running up, down and all around the temple to complete. Plus there are a lot of quests that have a lot of grinding to finish. Vol'dun and Nazmir are pretty fast and straightforward, with not a lot of backtracking.
During the alpha I did tiragarde first, just because of the plot envolving the proudmore family.\r\rThat's how I did it in beta. It made more thematic sense as well as the quest taking you to Kul'Tiras centers largely around Jaina anyway. After that, I moved into the other areas. I suspect this was one of three possible and intended paths to take. The storytelling on it made much more sense in this order.

Stormsong Valley has a major phasing bug for the second last quest in the main quest line chain\r Quest \r\rI have no doubt blizzard will fix it since it blocks progress (and maybe they've already have, just bugged characters on beta aren't getting a fix) but if you don't want to risk your main character, you should at the very least do Stormsong Valley main quest line first
you literally can't be ganked in your leveling areas.\r\rBut this isn't true at all.. I can tell you haven't played beta.\r\rAs early as level 112 a player can setup warfronts on the opposite island.\rA short questline, and boom you can roam to kill leveling horde\/alliance.\r(Assuming warmode is on)
so where we start, Undercity or Silithus?
so where we start, Undercity or Silithus?\r\rThis article answers your question as does the Heart of Azeroth related quest line.
I wonder how many people turned back and ran when they read "Turn on Warmode"
