yay. tandred proudmoore is here. :)
I agree that it would be unrealistic for ALL Kul Tirans to fall in behind their new Lord Admiral so quickly, particularly if they do not have their men in the missing fleet which she brought home.
Though the prepatch stuff still has me a little sick, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by all of this when I saw it in game last night. I really hope through meaningful content like this that Jaina is being entrenched as a permanent fixture of WoW going forward (same for Thrall), because the race to kill off iconic WC characters faster than we can create new ones was getting tiresome.I don't mean to be entirely cynical with my praise though. This was legitimately good stuff. Jaina is a character for many of us that spans back an absurdly long time of our actual lives. It's weird to think that I "grew up" alongside her, but in many ways it sort of feels like I did. She might not be that starry eyed idealist anymore, but her core, the good person that made her that to begin with, is still there. I especially liked the Rhonin torment bit; I think that was the first (in game) portrayal that she actually had some regret about how she handled Dalaran... but the most powerful to me wasn't even the Arthas stuff, it was Varian. That Undercity scenario in the wake of Wrathgate was the most pumped up that maybe I've ever been in this game. I didn't know what was going to happen, or even expect the scenario itself. It was a release for all the rage that I felt (and continue to feel) at the Forsaken and their evil. And then *poof*, Jaina spared them all at the hour of our victory. I was legitimately angry with her, or as angry as one can be at a fictional character, because of that decision for years. It wasn't until Theramore that I let go and started feeling something for the character again, and it's been one of the most at times frustrating / at times awesome character roller coasters ever since. I hope she's found her well earned stability, at last.
2 days IRL time...very likely much longer in game time considering how many quests, dungeons etc. are needed to get to 120
lol @ the scared little boys who cannot handle strong women characters,Kudos to Bliz, and raspberries to the little boys!
Soo... can somebody explain to me what actually happened there? Summoning a navy out of mid air seems a bit bizzarre. Did she teleport them from somewhere? Where they hidden in some kind of ghost fog realm they couldn't escape?
This article clearly has some bias issues.1.Horde gained MORE power while the Alliance tried to regain moral.2.Horde fought against a being that a loa had to sacrifice her self only to imprison him.Alliance didnt had an opponent of that scale.Horde gain the support of all alive loas with the exception of the one we had to kill and on top of that the King made a pact with a badass powerful Loa One more thing Bwonsamdi > Rezan. So tell me where did the Horde lose power when they gained MORE power? Some weird %^&* maths I dont know of?I mean , sure , the seal was opened by a being that not even the mighty Loas could kill with a plot developed by Zul since MoP.Zul that has an OP power of farseeing which AGAIN Alliance didnt had to face someone of this scale.Anyway...I digress.I got triggered by "Horde lost power" thing when , in fact , it gained MORE power.I got to love missinformation....
Man, this expansion is really really sucking for the Horde side.
Meanwhile those cannibal savages think their loa and the Horde are going to save them... Heh.
