Y'all getting salty about lousy storytelling and awful character development is shameful. My kingdom and horse for quality writing!
Blizzard continuing to show that they forgot Pandas are part of the Horde...and exist in general
Yeah this is getting seriously annoying. The Garrosh storyline was rushed, but it was fine for two reasons : first, the player didn't fight against the Alliance under his orders (at least not in PVE), but against an enemy to both the Horde and the Alliance (Deathwing, then the Sha). Encounters against the Alliance happened, but they were a product of tension since Wrath. The only exception being Theramore, which was at the peak of the conflict, and triggered the civil war against him. Second, it was new. Since Warcraft 3 the Horde had Thrall as a leader, a calm, thoughtful and wise warchief who never seeked conflict out. So the "Bad guy warchief that we have to rebel against" storyline was fine. This Sylvanas stuff is bull^&*! because first, she triggers a war against the Alliance by herself, for no justification else than "If we kill them all they can't start the war haha !", turns from a ruthless, but calm leaders, to a trigger happy, mind control happy leader who attacks enemies and friends alike, and most importantly, the Horde is barely recovering from the shame of Garrosh's leadership.Honestly, keep the same storyline but apply it to Jaïna and it would have been perfect. She has justification for attacking the Horde (personal trauma due to Theramore and Garrosh), her becoming trigger happy is something that happened gradually over the years, and not just since the start of the expansion, and it would have been good to see the Alliance do something objectively bad for once.
I'm Horde - full stop. I was a Sylvanas fanboy. Then she burnt a tree, and now she has imprisoned and may ultimately kill my favorite racial leader (his father before him is my favorite of all time.) If Cairne goes to the big steakhouse in the sky, I want her dead; crushed, sliced and diced, and burned. No return. Gone forever.PS...thank you Mayla for speaking the truth.
It's because you make no points that even approach validity. It is though you assume that because this setting involves races that are more dramatically different than those we know to be real on Earth, then the members of those races treating one another like garbage is more acceptable. 'Tisn't so. Civilians are civilians. War crimes are war crimes.#teamsaurfang
sylvanas raid fight should be a blast. feels like there is no other way that this one ends. might not be in BFA, but eventually we're gonna kill her and I for one will be so happy when she's gone.
And that's the reason why thrall should come back as warchief!
Typical that it takes Baine saving a Human in the name of the Alliance and Sylvanas rightfully punishing him to splinter the Horde. The only leader with any Removed sense here is Overlord Geya'rah.
