Lol. They didn't even recolor the leather set. These rewards are a joke. Shame nobody is laughing.
"what's that? you want to play alliance and get mounts that aren't horses? well then the horde's waiting for you."
I have to admit these sets are hideous.
This explains why trial of style was delayed! I guess we can expect the patch early march or late February?
I like the leather set. I don't think it's necessarily well-designed, but I like the colors. In fact, I like it so much, I already have it.It's been my druid's transmog for years (but with a nicer hat). So, no new leather rewards for me, I guess.
Damn, now Im tempted to make a filthy alliance character :/
I'm going to hazard a guess and say that the 'Stones' are the items you collect for the crafting item quests (some of them can be put into specific crafting bags) then you have things like 'Ancient Blood Pigment' and 'Ice-Encased Ancient Blood Pigment' which look to be from the inscription questline and 'Extremely Precise Vial' which is probably from the alchemy one.
I think the reason why (for some people) the Trial of Style Ensembles look terrible, is because they don't want people to feel too left out if they happen to miss it.While I yearn for one day the ToS to release awesome, unreleased sets (such as the green Tier 11 DK set), I'll take crappy looking sets over no sets at all.Remember what happened last time ToS came around?
Oh look, Saurfang's wolf.
I still think they should put the Island gear sets in the Trial of Style instead.
Two Sides to Every Tale? Look at the achievement requirements for the mounts. We're going to have to complete both factions quest lines. That's why it's a horse in Horde armor and a wolf in Aliance armor.
Being a mog addict myself, I find those "new" sets common for a competition and disrespectful for paying customers. Game developers have stopped showing love and creativity, Wow seems to be in total decline and this is another example of the downfall.Concerning the event, I got no incentive at all to keep participating into this trial of "boring" style.
Finally, the full blue dragon plate!
Seems I will have to keep the N'Zoth gift on the warlock and do it again to get the toy. Iffy on Blizzard's definition of "permanent", it will eventually grow tiresome to have that thing on your head.
