i just gave my dummy starter account 6 months sub, but all i got was the first reward.
There appears to be a delay in processing as I had 2 accounts waiting for recruitment and both qualify but they do not show as recruited at the moment.
Saw this in game an am still trying to figure out if its working 100% and I'm doing it 100%. All of my friends came back for Classic so I'm attempting to recruit myself back into retail wow as we have all been in Classic. Fingers crossed I've done this correctly and my rewards have started to count as progress.
It sucks now. The whole point of RAF was to level up fast. 50% is meh.
Heirlooms experience does not stack with the 50% provided by the system.
Will there be a way for us to get old RAF mounts as well?
Would be cool to get confirmation from Blizz that we can get the rewards in one go or not.
Fricking two years? *sigh*Was hoping to use my old RAF account but that's been 9 months since last sub. Thought it was going to be a year.
Are we still able to refer ourselves using the same battle.net account as our main account? That's what I did last time around to get the RAF mounts, and it was nice because my other accounts shared achievements, mounts, heirlooms, and pets.
A quick update. It appears that there was either a short delay, or I had to log completely out but the two accounts that I had waiting are now linked. It also appears that the account that I upgraded to BFA did not credit me with a boost but it very likely could be a delay.
So it seems if you attempt to recruit yourself via the cheapest option, meaning you only recruit with ONE new account, then it will take an entire year minimum to claim all rewards. What a joke this is.
Regarding only getting 1 month reward when your recruit subs for multiple months, this is intended. From the FAQ (https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/game/recruit-a-friend):Q: When do I receive rewards?A: You’ll receive your first reward when your friend adds at least 30 days of game time to their account. If your friend adds more than 30 days of game time (for example, by purchasing a 3- or 6-month recurring subscription), rewards beyond the first will be granted at a rate of one per month, based on the date your recruit added game time to their account. Note that it may take up to 72 hours to process rewards. In some regions, the processing time may take up to eight days. See the Support Article for more information.
My friend has a Legion account not used since 3 years. So I understand that qualifies her. Now, can I GIFT her game time through my Blizzard account, and will we that way still get the rewards?
