"We also wanted to note that when Pestilence Slime dies it drops Rapid Infection, which you can also stand in for a different 25% Haste buff. The Necrolord aura and pool haste buffs stack multiplicatively so if you stand in both, you actually increase your haste by 56.25%" this wont end well on sanquine weeks for healers x)
The alternative is forcing all 5 members of the party to be Venthyr for the door or all Necrolord for Fleshcraft to ignore mechanics. You need ONE party member.

It's pretty obvious most of these dungeon bonuses will be nerfed like the crazy covenant !@#$ (shadowmeld, cheat death). I'd rather they start from a wacky sort of OP spot and reign themselves in during test than start with a lame idea. Most are gonna react like these are set in stone and going to ruin the game despite knowing full well it will go through tuning passes.
I'm amazed that there are still people who genuinely think that the covenant player power issues won't be affecting them and that it's only going to affect the top 1%. It's not. The top 1% don't exist in a vacuum. Word gets around and people flock to the guides that are made, (and this includes a large portion of the casual playerbase as well) and copy the best. That's how it is and pretty much has been for over a decade. If you pug any M+ this will affect you, and most likely not in a positive way. This is yet another divider in the playerbase. People won't just look at your item level, class, spec and raider io, now they will look at your covenant as well. It doesn't matter if it won't actually make much of a difference, people will always take the path of least resistance and that means not inviting people who make the "wrong" decisions, and when it comes to covenants, there will most certainly be a right and wrong decision based on your class/spec, mark my words. The only way this won't affect you is if you are playing in a guild of likeminded individuals or simply not participating in any higher end content to begin with.
The idea that casual LFG groups doing +5s requiring specific covenants to ezmode a key is somehow Blizzard's fault for creating these mechanics as opposed to a community failure is so bizarre. Lots of people are bad at playing the game and expect other people to make choices to make things easier for them, that's not something Blizzard will be able to fix. If people can't find a Necrolord rogue to do their low key with then they won't get it done, that's their problem, not yours.
Man it is gonna be hilarious when the tryhards are gonna spend 2 hours waiting for that ultra optimal necrolord rogue while us decent players will be timing keys without the most optimal comb cuz anyone decent can time keys without the mosts optimal comb or buff usage, and no, nobody cares about epeen mode of m30s, these will never be balanced because there's no point ever wasting resources on them.
I like this! Not only are the dungeon buffs fun but they help counteract some of the elitist 'you must have covenant x,y,z or no invite', even if you aren't using what's considered the optimal ability you might be able to still join through your covenant because of buff potential.
What happens when one covenant is particularly unpopular, and there is an under representation of them in the mythic plus scene? Running the dungeons associated with that covenant is going to feel like &*!@ for everyone. If you pug now you either have to wait an eternity trying to get the right player for the group, or run without the buff and be handicapped. Some premades are going to get unlucky and have their preferred covenants not line up and they will miss out on a buff, and if they want to fix that someone is going to have to take a covenant they don't want to take. Neither option feels good for anyone.
Are you Necrolord? Sorry buddy we already got one, are Kyrian? We got that too, sorry mate.*!@# that @#$%. As long as they make PvP gear the best for PvP then this is acceptable.
omg .. why is everything mythic this and mythic that .. the highest I will play is probably heroic.. which is about 95% of the players base
