Reforge NPC when? They had to add Reforge NPC again in the game if they going to do that.
This is why they added the reforge functionThen then wanted to simplyfie stats Now we are back to this again with out the reforging ...
As someone who plays tank classes, which have a history of heavily relying on mastery for a good number of patches, I feel personally attacked. The 106% cap is aimed exclusively at mastery. While theoretically possible, I've never seen someone get to 100% on versa, crit or haste via gear alone, but it's more than possible for mastery (and has been done several times over the years). I haven't played that much during BfA, so I don't really know if mastery stacking for those who need it can indeed surpass 100%, but the point remains.
"the power gap between start of expansion and end of expansion is too large" ... Yeah that is what it supposed to feel like. You are PROGRESSING. You want to feel like a god at the end of an expansion... This only makes upgrades between tiers less impactful.. Can't wait to want more haste on my druid and be told no.. you want mastery!
Great stuff, this will make gearing much more complex. Will need to run simcraft for each new piece of gear when you approach diminishing returns breakpoints. Lower itemlvl gear will be better in many circumstances. Definitely a positive change to the game for everybody. This problem was already solved in BFA. In patch 8.0 they greatly nerfed secondary stat scaling past intro-level 120 gear for this exact reason. If they hadn't added corruptions that increased the amount of a secondary stat like crit by 12% and allowed players to wear multiples of that same corruption this wouldn't have been a problem at all.Take a moment to consider the mudflation you're adding in future patches, don't do stupid stuff like corruption severe 3, and it's all good. Or, you know, make gearing a nightmare for the whole expansion, whatevs'.And if they really insist on going ahead with this stuff, c'mon guys, breakpoints? Set each stat to diminish on a smooth function so players don't need to game it with simcraft and addons. For crying out loud.
Looks like a good change, as it will keep classes from spiraling out of control in certain situations. On the other hand Blizz might cause themselves a problem by making their own class design problems harder to solve...
So ya'lls first chart looks a bit wrong...yea it would keep getting less and less until 49% but anything after that it would keep at a straight pace and not continue to decrease as the chart shows it doing with the slight bend even more so after 49%
Does this already apply to the gear obtainable in BFA as I been checking it out and my rating per point is not decreasing when I pass the 25%.
