Why just not apply buff to gear +5(10,15 don't know)% to stats depending of source from where you get this item. And this buff should work only in same activities.So M+ gear would be best for M+, Raid gear for raids and same for pvp.
Spammable freebies come to an end. I'm very glad. M+ broke all item progression, broke PvP and raids and linear progression system.

To be honest here. If this change stays like it is I probably wont even play this addon. Week after week more and more stupid changes. This is the cherry on the top. Forcing us into this !@#$ty Raid, when like 90% of people I know just want to spam m+. Now I know how PvPers feel.
My Opinion about the changes in mythic plus. I am a tank which plays M+(3,8k) and do Raids (12/12 mythic). I am playing wow for 15 years now.The first change is that you will get only 1 piece of Loot at the end of the Dungeon. That means one of five players get an item after spending 40 minutes (includes Dungeon, arrival, and group building time, …) in a Dungeon. On average there are 8 items per dungeon available and there are 8 different dungeons. You can use 15 - 16 Items. If you do a simple calculation you need in a best-case scenario 75 runs for 15 items(75*40min=50 hours) and that’s means you don’t get a single item double and take all items you get without taking the items stats in consideration. For example, to get one specific item from one dungeon you need at least 1 - 40 runs even more if you have the bad luck. If we take the average of runs(20runs) for the one item, we need and multiply with 15 Slots that is 300 runs. (200 hours) And do not forget you have other things to do as well in WoW (Questing, Farming, Raiding).The second change is that your reward for doing a mythic plus dungeon on level 15 will be under the item level for heroic raiding. In consideration which the coming changes for the weekly chest you do not need to do any mythic plus dungeons at all. You can only increase the selection of possible items you can get from the weekly chest if you do mythic plus. All raiders are not forced to do mythic plus anymore. From the perspective of mythic plus players you do not get an equal reward for spending the same time in mythic plus as a Raider in Raids.My conclusion will be that I will no longer run Dungeons with Randoms, because I do not want to spend time in gearing other people, which vanish after one dungeon. Therefore, I will only take friends and member from my guild into a dungeon. Further I will take only classes with the same armor if possible, to have a higher change to get loot by trading. I guess other tanks will do the same at the start of the content. After you got your gear from heroic Raids there is no need to do mythic plus content at all. Furthermore, mythic plus content will die with the time. Less and less people will play mythic plus dungeons because you do not need to do it anymore and you get less reward then raiding. For example, you finish a Mythic 20 dungeon and you get an Item on an Item-slot which also drops at the last two Bosses in the Raid, then this Item will be 220, otherwise it will be 213. Same goes for the Weekly Great Vault. For example, you have finished a Mythic 20 Key, then I could be that can choice between Legs, Hands, and a Ring. If Hands and Ring do not drop by the last two Bosses, then the Item-level will be 226 and the Legs 233.
Idiotic change that is going to not only destroy m+ but also raiding.For two expansions now, my guild was able to keep our raid fairly open to all guildies - even the poor performers - because mythic+ allowed the more involved, better players not only supplement their raid drops but even get upgrades above heroic raid level, and make up for the poor-performing casuals.Now we will have to mercilessly kick poor performers... last time blizztards did that, we saw several decades-involved players leave, and it's going to happen again... the difference is, now we're already unable to field a raid OR recruit, and we're essentially ruins of FOUR guilds raiding together. More losses, and even if some remain, we're all gone.To add insult to injury, mythic+ dungeons, particularly at +15 and above, are INFINITELY harder than heroic raids. You need perfect execution, you need to think how to make up for limited choice of classes you take, you get more and more difficulty from affixes that also need handling right. By comparison, heroic raids are a walk in the park with enough room for every class, every spec, every imaginable buff.Of course, participation is also going to drop - just like it dipped at start of BfA compared to legion, following every class getting nerfed into the ground... and only recovering to pre-BfA levels in season four.Someone really wants to kill WoW... and I hope Ion follows GC who was responsible for the previous catastrophe of this scale. The sooner they fire the clown, the better.
Makes sense.M+, even at level 15, is easier than Heroic raiding. It's not just a matter of gameplay or mechanics, but you only need half the players and there's no limit on how many you can run per week, a limit that does exist for raiding.If you can just farm M+ for better gear than Heroic raiding, then you can skip it and go straight for Mythic after a week or two of gear faming in M+However, as many have pointed out, there should be gear for PvP, that's only effective on PvP grounds, otherwise you'll be forcing PvPlayers to also raid Heroic content.
Its unbearable. At this point Ion has to go. Indefinetly. How can you be so out of touch with the biggest and most active community of your dying game?Its a shame really. I take it all back if these are time limited gear levels for some reason, but I dont think that is the case. As I can see most players here hate that change except people that do their depleted weekly key once a week and get raid boosted weeks after the release. Probably the same people that cried about 7 dungeons being too much in one week for an extra chance...Im so done with this Part of the community that doesnt even plqy actively and the devs that tend to listen to these clowns.
Wtf are they doing ? Why tthey always modifying things who dont need to be modiifed ? Wtf is wrong with blizzard, they kill their own game with killing MM+ stuff.
I like the changes. Will make gearing and especially raids more rewarding. Personally for me the end of dungeon chest could be set to 213 tho for consistency :)M+ is my main queue btw.
+15 should drop higher ilvl than heroic gear or the same and 2 last bosses drop higher ilvl gear than first 8? yikes thats bad

Currently M+s drop BiS gear. So your BiS has to come from a random 1 drop from your weekly chest. This will still be true in Shadowlands, except if you run 10 dungeons you'll get to pick between 3 random drops from your weekly chest. You just can't spam M+s on fresh level 60s for nearly BiS gear... you'll have to run 1 whole Heroic for a bit better gear, or just wait for BiS from the Weekly Chest (but now with more chances). This will only really effect FRESH max level toons, for ONE tier (if they don't change anything). BiS is still from M+ Weekly and the last two bosses of Mythic Raids... the end.Where are all you people seeing this as the sky is falling? The 1 piece of loot from dungeons is a pretty drastic change but that wasn't even what this article is about or even what people seem to be crying about.
So they are making game for the top 100 again?are they making all features to hand held people at top 100?makes no sense, top 100 guild is irrelevant, they shouldnt balance the game based on them in the first place, I enjoy M+ a lot, and with this, its just dead to the point I might not even log in, I do my HC raid, one weekly and what else is there to do now?I used to have fun caues I knew I can spam M+ for loot and with this I can spend 10 hrs doing M+ and at the end I am going to get NOTHING, no reward, just an empty chest, and after 10 runs when I get lucky I might get one %^&*ty item with &*!@ty stats that are worse then a first boss in a hc, that is easier than a WQ mob....thanks a lot for that
