I don't understand the complaint about borrowed power. This is what WoW has always been about. Two- to three-year cycles of accumulating borrowed power, then a reset and on to the next cycle. Some of you are talking about all these systems as if they'd have to be building towards some sort of endgame. Where we'll one day have all the legendary cloaks and Thunderfuries and Legion artifacts and the Heart and we'll wear them all together and snap Thanos out of existence. The point of these borrowed powers is your journey with them. We've been playing with azerite and the Heart for two full years. The fact that it's not endgame content anymore doesn't retroactively render its existence "pointless". It had a purpose in its expansion and its time naturally ran out. Learn to let things go.
I'll admit, I was wrong about BFA's cloak, I did not know it would still be ok to wear at the beginning of level 60. Mea culpa. But I still think Blizzard somehow needs to move away from borrowed powers, and re-think the original systems instead.Talents currently are stale, and I definitely think Classic's talent design had some greater strengths than the design we've been using since MoP. Talents are currently pointless, we swap them all the time depending on our needs, they mean nothing.Back in Classic, I could make some hybrid talent builds, I had some more complex choices to make.
Yet on the Beta this remains unchanged and i am still using it at lvl 60
You will know why this change when begin the expansion xD
So the cloak's being nerfed along with essences for the prepatch? I thought the proc was already disabled completely past level 50, unless that was a change/bug that got reverted/fixed. I know I remember reading about it some time ago.
As of me the cloak should be no longer available to players, with visions, and N'zoth. Same as MoP and WoD lego and content behind them.
My playtime on the beta showed the cloak proc was just INSANE. Like even with my 473 (before patch) hunter, the proc after the patch boosted my agi by almost 50%. My damage would skyrocket with the proc. I saw this nerf coming a mile away. It was very very OP
Nice to see the buff for longstrider, ptr and beta had it shown as increasing your movement by up to 1 percent so maybe this is to help fix it so people will still use for speed twinking
That 1% buff lmao
Who doesn't understand the cloak nerf clearly has no idea about the 9.0 stats. The cloak proc literally doubled the amount of primary stat an average ilvl 460-ish character has.
