Loot from Last Two Nathria Bosses Added to Great Vault Rewards After You Kill Them Once
19/11/2020 à 12:32
From our exclusive interview with Ion Hazzikostas, he revealed that rewards from the Great Vault will not contain loot from the Stone Legion Generals or Denathrius until you've defeated them at least once. The loot of these bosses is higher item level and you won't be able to RNG into a Mythic Denathrius Item only having killed the first couple bosses of Mythic.

Great Vault Rewards - Raiding Row
Ion Hazzikostas has revealed in our
exclusive interview with Ion Hazzikostas
, you can't get rewards from the last two bosses of Castle Nathria in your Great Vault until you've killed that boss on that difficulty.
For the Raiding Row on the Great Vault are you able to get Weapon Tokens or pieces of loot from bosses you haven't killed yet?
You should be able to get weapons tokens but don't 100% quote me on that, I'm pretty sure you can they're just loot. For things like the end-bosses or higher tier stuff, you can't get loot from the Great Vault if you've never killed that boss. Now, that's not a week-by-week thing, there's no I'm going to skip these bosses this week to game the system but you can't just go in with 3 Mythic boss kills under your belt and then get a Denathrius item or Stone Generals item. That's not possible. You'll have to have killed him on Mythic at least once before those because valid options. Same for Heroic, same for Normal.
This was a concern by many players who felt they might get unlucky with loot from the Raiding Row in the Great Vault compared to someone who RNG'ed into a Denathrius loot on the first week. Since Stone Legion Generals and Denathrius drop higher item level pieces in Castle Nathria, this is a nice measure that removes some of the outliers, such as someone who gets lucky with a 233 Item Level weapon token in the first week.
So what this should mean. Based on the way he worded the statement, we can assume:
Loot from the first eight bosses should always be available in the Great Vault
If you defeat three bosses on Mythic difficulty, your first box on the raiding row can contain any item from the first 8 Mythic bosses.
Once you kill Stone Legion Generals on Mythic, that loot will be added to the possibilities from the Great Vault permanently and similarly for Denathrius.
This avoids gaming the system of "I only want to kill these bosses this week to try to get what I want" or "I'm only killing the final two bosses to get the highest possibilities".

Good system, it should 100% work like this for ALL the bosses, not just last two.
I think it is like this for all the bosses, he just used the last two as an example
No, it doesn't work this way for all bosses. That's what he meant by "gaming the system".
If you really want specific loot from Shriekwing (the first boss) you can't just kill that boss and expect your weekly vault to have gear only from that boss; it will be a random piece of from the first eight bosses regardless of which specific bosses you killed that week.
As soon as you kill the last two bosses at least once, you'll be receiving a random piece off loot in the Great Vault from the loot table of any of the ten Castle Nathria bosses.
He says: "you can't get loot from the Great Vault if you've never killed that boss."
So I assume he means, if you have killed a boss in any ID you can get loot from it in the great vault.
If you never have killed, you can't get loot from that boss.
I think the title is missleading.
but enable mythic cross raiding sooner this time, people that don't use guilds or fixed groups always have to wait, for? getting a boost or why is it like this?
Cross-realm Mythic will open after 100 guilds clear Mythic Castle Nathria. You can check that progress at the WoW site.
