Every company uses same method. They count preorders as day 1. People saying activision is dishonest have poor understanding of how the world works. Previous record was Diablo 3, many great games came out after that, yet no game beat it in so long and Cyberpunk has no chance either.
So where are the sub numbers if they claim it is at its highest in the past decade (which conveniently exlcudes Wrath)? Those three lines are almost reminiscent of what one expects from a spin-doctored statement.Having an active sub I will say the questing and story are far more engaging this time round rather than just an ancillary activity to gain levels.
28 million isn't over one day though it's over four years. 3.7 for Shadowlands is.Has Witcher 3 gotten way more than 3.7 since release? Definitely. Did it get over 3.7 in it's first day? No.
Uchur is thin-skinned and still sucks as a moderator, and Shadowlands is still a subpar product.
