The ever-changing halls of Torghast, Tower of the Damned now reveal a new passageway through the cursed otherworldly prison—the Twisting Corridors. Within the Twisting Corridors, you’ll face the Jailer’s cruelest henchmen and, should you ascend within, you will be rewarded with special cosmetic rewards including a mount that can be ridden inside the Maw.To begin your saga within the Twisting Corridors, you must complete the quest “Signs of the Lion,” offered by Bolvar Fordragon in Oribos as the culmination of your search through Torghast for Azeroth’s leaders. Once you’ve proven yourself worthy, you must survive 18 floors teeming with brutal enemies to reap the precious rewards within. This is no easy feat; success will come to those armed to the teeth, capable of using every ability at their disposal, and wisely selecting their Anima Powers to dispatch the terrors within. Successfully completing a key Layer will grant you an achievement along with a reward worthy of the most powerful adventurers.

Got to floor 13 and things tripled in health, and then they started to 2 shot my pet, and do 30k melee hits to me. It's nice to have something to aim for, that isn't just a hand-out.
Torghast has been a lot of fun and I wanted a reason to go back in, beyond the weekly climbs.

I have no idea how I can kill this. I'm doing 50k dps and can't get him past 50% because he casts a non-interruptible spell over and over than eventually hits for 50k+.

The layer principle doesnt make sense, doesnt feel your are really progressing something its worth it for. People are rushing max layer already, Twisting Corridors mechanic with 144 repetitive floors seems just time sink. Ive done layer 8 on Soullforge wing today coming from 6 earlier, no difference. I also received a follow-up quest in the chain on a toon I was further behind on, but I wasn't sure of the progression and didn't think too much of it until this happened.
