Il faut avoir déjà complété la quête : Pêche-surprise pour pouvoir faire pop ce rare. L'objet : Appât permet de lancer cette quete, il se loot notament (15%) sur Qilana lors de l'expedition Championne Qalina, la Lance de glace

Pour faire pop Vor'koth , vous devez trouver : Eaux infestées d'anguilles qui apparaît après un laps de temps "respawn rare" en 48,24.
Dedans vous pouvez jeter un Appât qui se loot sur les différents rares de Nazjatar.
Cela fait apparaitre trois anguilles (tuez les) elles drop des Appât.
Jetez un Appât dans la flaque qui est devenue rouge sang , si cela ne fais pas pop Vor'koth , continuez à tuer des anguilles qui vienent attirées par les Appât j'usqua faire pop Vor'koth (chaque anguille drop 75% un Appât , vous devrez peut etre le faire 5_6 fois.

Pool is at 48.3 24.1 in the Abyssal Pool Area. You use Chum (the Uncommon/Green "Chum") to summon him in the "Eel Infested Waters" that spawns there, killing the spawning eels for more Chum (the Common/White "Chum").

Do this for a while and the rare will eventually spawn.

He has a chance to drop the Skittering Eel pet.

It can take 10+ chum for him to spawn, just keep throwing it in and he'll come eventually.

The Eel Infested Waters apparently has a 30-60 minute timer before it comes back up. I waited it out for about 40 minutes trying to figure it out before I saw it come up. If anyone sees it take longer or less please add another comment here.

Appears to be rep-locked or quest-locked. I saw the chum pool, started fishing it, got the chum, but nothing ever changed for me. I had the chum in my bag and when clicking it said I was already on the quest. So I kept fishing the pool...nothing changed. Finally I deleted the chum item. I still see the pool in front of me, but others came and saw the boss, and killed him. I saw nothing. I even did /reload so i think it's a phasing issue based on rep or quests, since I got the achieve for fully exploring the place. :(

You're probably gonna have to do this twice in order to spawn Vor'koth. The first time you loot chum in Nazjatar, it starts the quest What Will It Lure?. That quest will not spawn Vor'koth, but instead the quest mob Shimmerscale Eel. During this quest you are phased. After completing this quest, you have to get lucky and loot another piece of chum in Nazjatar and repeat the process in order to spawn Vor'koth.

It's the same for herbalists with Carnivorous Lasher and Germinating Seed. The first time while on the quest, you are phased - and the mob will not drop any rank 2 recipes.

No one ever helps with eels which are super annoying, especially with stuns, but when You finally manage to kill 'em, one thousand people suddenly appears (mainly alliance)

I just killed him and despite this not being on his loot table, he dropped Bouclier écaille-de-foudre, and Anguille insaisissable (this one is on his loot table).

I don't know if this is a bug or a "feature" but after the first chum is thrown into that damn bloody pool it will often continue to spew forth skittering eels even if you've stopped chumming. I've seen up to three of these at one time and three is a pain for non-plate and non-pet classes ime, mainly cause the chance of getting stun-locked goes way up.

Secondly. If you are doing this for the two skinning rank 2's be warned, you likely will only get one bump at a time which means and you will have to do the second part again. One piece of good news all of your unused red chum disappears and becomes one piece of green chum suitable for starting the skittering eels again,

The comment under the map location at the top of this wowhead article is incorrect. It says to check for quest 7 which is incorrect. Does anyone know how to check to see if one of my alts has already killed him today?

It must be a bug that it isn't included in the I Thought You Said They'd Be Rare? achievement, but the pet it drops is included in the Give Me the Biggest Bag You've Got achi.

As of today, I went to the eel infested water, threw in a green quality chum i had in my bank for a while, water turned bloody, killed eels, then kept throwing in white quality chum they dropped which kept spawning eels which i killed over and over. Eventually, the bloody pool got much larger then Vor'koth spawned. He dropped the dregded leather recipe for my LW. NB: watch the timer on your white quality chum as they only last 5 minutes

this rare made me wonder if i can kill him twice just to get the receipe for skinning or do i have to wait next day until i can get a chance to get the receipe?

Today there was a bloody pool from someone starting the event and leaving and a green Eaux infestées d'anguilles at the same time. I thought by throwing in my uncommon Appât it would spawn more eels to loot Appât, but nothing happened. How can the event be restarted when someone takes off with the Appât?

Maybe you're like me leveling an alt's Skinning profession and want to pick up the rank 2 skinning recipe for Dredged Leather or Cragscale. So you saw in your Skinning profession book that it was dropped by Vorkoth and came here to find where he spawned. But you need to loot uncommon quality Chum to summon him (or be there when someone else summons him).

So where do you get that? You can see the drop sources on the page for that item and it mostly comes from beasts in Nazjatar. I went slightly south of Vorkoth's spawn and found a pool of Deeptide Frenzy eels. Killing a handful of them (carefully, they can hit hard) produced the chum item. They're not even listed as possible sources of chum so I can't comment on whether they are better sources than the ones listed or whether I just got lucky with a quick drop from nearby sources. Edit: I went back on a second alt needing the rank 2s and had to kill this group of six eels half a dozen times before I got a Chum item to drop.

Then you go to Vorkoth's spawn and use the chum. It will only summon lesser eels culminating in a Shimmering Eel Skin. You go turn that in at Mezzamere to Artisan Okata, or Newhome to Finder Pruc, but still don't have rank 2. So now you need to loot the uncommon quality Chum. Again this mostly drops from beasts and some rares so you have to go farm until you get it. This is the really unfortunate part because the drop rate is so low. I farmed for over 80 minutes before I received the uncommon chum, which was incredibly frustrating because of how comparatively easy it was for me to get rank 2 Nazjatar mining and herbing on other alts. Might be easier to just wait at his spawn and see if some other poor skinner summons him for you to share the tag. Edit: On my second skinner it only took me 15 minutes of farming mobs.

Once I had the second chum I went back to Vorkoth's spawn pool and used it. You kill the Skittering Eels (out-range the Electrify if you can't interrupt it), loot the common chum from them, and throw it back in the pool. Repeat this maybe a dozen times and eventually Vorkoth should spawn. I did receive a second uncommon Chum during this eel killing process which I saved to come back the next day since I only received the Cragscale rank 2 recipe after my first kill. Edit: I did not receive an uncommon Chum on my second skinner while summoning Vorkoth, so it's not guaranteed.
