Personnellement j'en ai eu deux en 5 minutes .Très simple à farmer, il est LQR et seuls les forgerons peuvent le looter, ne vous fiez pas au drop rate de wowhead

You must farm these mobs if you're a blacksmith and wish to do the Khorium Boots, for these are the only ones that have a chance of dropping the pattern.

Remember that if you are farming as a blacksmith that the drop for the plans is not accurate. The drop rate is just based on how many have dropped over how many have been killed total.

It's also worth mentioning that there are 3 types of spawn at the location. These guys, Disembodied Exarchs and Disembodied Vindicators.
None of these pose much of an issue to even a poorly geared 70, but they all must be killed off lest the respawn eventually contain no Protectors at all.
Unfortunately, the other two mob types do not drop the blacksmith plans that you are most likely here for.

Most of these spawns appear to be dedicated spawn points - kill a Protector and another Protector will spawn in the same place later. Only a very small number seem to be shared spawn points, and then they seem to only oscillate between Vindicator and Protector. In summary, it should be absolutely safe to only kill Protectors for the recipe, although it might become a bit tedious waiting on respawns at higher levels.
