The quest he gives you when you free him is to return to Grifter in Shattrah. As a reward, you get a unique 15 stam blue gem.

As a mage, here is what you do:

*get naked first... you will be dying at the end
*turn on instant quest text if it isn't already

1. Stand in front of the hut.
2. Use invisibility to get to Zungam and free him.
3. Take a 5min afk break and wait for invisibility to get off cooldown.
4. Use invisibility again and run to where Zungam stands (you won't be able to see him when invisible, but he's inside the hut at the bottom of the stairs in front of the campfire).
5. Iceblock out of invisibility, Complete Quest and Accept next Quest.
6. Die, then go to Shattrath and collect reward.

He now sells Biscuit dur comme la pierre and Champignon violet vil (needed for Délicieusement cataclysmique) and Eau trouble and Jus de champignon pressé (needed for Noyer son chagrin). Previously, these could only be bought from Grunka, who was only friendly during a portion of the Mount Hyjal quest chain (though Jus de champignon pressé is a common Cataclysm drop).

This is easy for a hunter to solo at the end of any ZA run. Just slip back to the hut, send pet in to grab mobs (I used a tenacity pet), run past into the hut, and feign death once you are well clear of the door. Once the mobs reset, camoflage and go up the steps to the vendor! (you should rez your pet now).

If your group is disbanded and you wan to reach him you have to pass 3 mobs. If you have some abilities like stealth, camouflage etc. some items can help you:

It was easy to solo to him as a druid with stealth. Just go in and start the event to open the gate and then run out and wait a minute or so. Go back in and then go through the gate. hang a left and then make a right to go across the top level of the dam. Work your way around some mobs and right into the hut.

I just finished this ACH.

Murky Waters was the last drink I needed - but what a pain in the ass to get. It's a long flight to get there (unless you take a portal to Silvermoon and then fly) and then you have to run through the dungeon to find this guy about mid way in (you can fight your way in but it's better to stealth your way in and get it over with).

HOWEVER - if you are on the NORDRASSIL server and doing this quest and you are HORDE - I went ahead and bought about 60 of them. Placed some in our Guild Bank for guildies going for the ACH and the rest I have on reserve. So if YOU are doing the ACH - and you're on THAT server - look for me (same name) and if I'm online link me your ACH to prove you NEED the Murky Waters and I will gladly send you one so you won't have to go through all that crap just to get it...
