blink dragons are just a random low level dragonkin mob found around ashenvale. if you want to kill some there are 2 that respawn on the second floor of raynewood retreat.

They are very useful for skinners since they drop good loot for someone at level 20-25

I could swear that when i started playing WOW only a few years ago i saw a hunter in org on my server who had 1 tamed as a pet. As far as i know no one could get him to say where he tamed it. He only said it took him months to find one that could be tamed and there was only one place and kind. After seeing the Fey-drunk Darter i began searching for one that could be tamed this is only the second type i have found. If anyone know where other types can be found please post location names.

If helpful, I'm farming the Corselet d'estafette. There are five Blink Dragons at approximately 53,46. I killed all five, starting a timer on the first kill. The first corpse despawned at 2:00, and that same mob respawned at about 5:43. So, the kill rate in this spot is about 5 every 6 minutes, or 50 an hour.

There are also three Blink Dragons on the midfloor of the main structure at Raynewood Retreat (approximately 61,51). Similarly, I killed them and started the timer. After over 30 minutes, they hadn't respawned. Not sure if there's another dynamic at-play here, but the 53,46 spot seems better (both in quantity & speed) if you're farming something they drop.
