Don't be discouraged by the drop rate for Bloodvenom Essences for the warlock quest. The drop rate is much better than 3%. I got all four of mine after killing only six.
And as it is pointed out they're right next to Niby and impsy.

Doing this quest, I experienced about a 50% drop rate. Not to hard.

These guys cast a Dark Sludge spell that is not able to be interrupted by rogue kick. I am not sure if any other method of interruption works, but if you're a rogue, save your kidney shot for when they start to cast it.

Do slime have kidneys?

Edit: Yes, stuns do work against it. And thanks for the tip about moving out of range.

If you are trying to farm Oozing Bags for the Disgusting Oozeling, these guys have a pretty fast respawn. I didn't time it exactly, but I would approximate 5-10 minutes.
