not 100% correct imho. One turn/round in pet battles would mean the stun would hold next turn too. This stun only works for the actual round. So you will only notice this stun when your pet attacks 1st (this way enemy gets stunned for this turn and cant execute his attack).
Note: for intercepting multi round attacks it is working as the tooltip says.

Since 5.4 this ability seems to be bugged. It doesn't stun half the time I use it, especially if the pets are the same speed and the kick goes off first.
