Cette mission à l'aire vraiment difficile à réaliser...mais a y regarder de plus près ce n'est pas si dur que ca...ce n'est qu'une question de temps...
Je viens justement de terminer cette quête il y a quelques heures et j'ai utilisé une méthode très facile et très partique: que je vais vous donner:

Pour cette astuce il vous faudra 2 personnes volontaires pour vous aider (ami ou inconnu), ils vont faire une dizaine de scénarios héroïques en boucle avec vous...
Je vous conseille de faire des scénarios, car se sont les instances JCE les plus rapides, et pourtant elles apportent beaucoup de Points de vaillance:

-120 Points de vaillance pour le premier scénario héro (se recharge tout les 24/h)
-70 Points de vaillance pour les scénarios héro
-30 Points de vaillance si vous réussissez la mission bonus.

Il est certes difficile de trouver des joueurs qui vous suivront pendant une dizaine de scénarios, vous mettrez peut être plus de temps à chercher les personnes que faire la manip elle même...
C'est pour quoi, je vous conseille d'utiliser l'Addon "Oqueue", il n'est pas disponible sur curse, ce qui veut dire qu'il faudra le télécharger sur son site officiel et exporter manuellement Oqueue dans le fichier addons de Wow avec WinZip.

Vous pourrez alors lancer une recherche au travers tout les royaumes du jeu (+/-) et il y aura surement des personnes disponibles...Vous pourrez toujours faire les 10 scénarios par tranche de 5 et changer de camarades pour ne pas que vos coéquipiers ne se lassent d'en faire autant d’affilée...Mais si ils sont d'accord de faire les dix, c'est encore mieux !

Vous êtes maintenant prêt pour commencer à farmer vos Points de vaillance.
En faisant 10 scénarios héroïques vous obtiendrez 1050 Points de vaillance:

120+(9x70)+(10x30)= 120+630+300=1050.

En sachant que la limite est de 1000 par semaine, vous devrez attendre 7 jours avant de recommencer la manipulation.

J'ai fait le test, cette astuce peut être faite en +/- 1h de jeu avec des coéquipiers de bon stuff, (j'avais un chassou de 573 et un pala de 575 !)

Cette astuce ne vous apporte pas seulement des Points de vaillance, mais également Cache de trésors supérieure qui contient des armures, des armes, des quètes bastonneurs, 60 Points de justice ainsi que de l'or...
Pour ma part j'ai eu Fiole de limon rougeâtre, La belle dame et l'ours, Sautoir lié par la tempête, Collier claquelame et 524 po.

This quest, for some reason, doesn't track your progress, if you track the quest, it just says "6000 Valor Earned 0/1". The related achievement, A Test of Valor, does, however. Track that if you want to know your actual progress through the quest.

Seems backwards to me, but oh well.

And it looks like it CAPS with your weekly allowed valor points. So no use to try to speed things up by doing a bunch of daylies over the 1000 valor cap.

It will take 6 weeks to complete this quest if earning 1000 valor per weekly reset (more likely 7 weeks unless you start the quest with 0 valor earned for that week). Valor OVER the 1000/week cap will not count towards your total for the quest.

"Points earned retroactively will not count. This will take 6 weeks total to complete.
Spending points does not affect your total.
Gaining points beyond the weekly cap does not count.
This quest can be started after getting a Sha-Touched gem." - perculia

As commented above the actual quest is for the achievement (i.e. not the earned valor). To track the quest you will need to track your achievement rather than the quest itself as suggested above.

If you are at maximum amount of points, 3000 of them if I remember correctly, will earning points still count as long as you are below 1000 per week?

I spoke to a GM earlier and he confirmed to me that the tracking does NOT reset anymore upon faction changing. It was a bug that has been hotfixed. The achievement tracker might show 0/6000 after a faction xfer, but that is just a cosmetic bug.

Edit: I realm and faction transferred and I can confirm the GM was right. I didn't have to re-do all of this achievement/quest.

The easiest way to figure this out is to go to your achievements under dungeons and raids and click on the achieve for 25000 valor points and it will tell you how far along you are to the 6000 needed for quest!

I sincerely dislike what Blizzard does here ... creating just another artificial barrier.

It took me 12 weeks to get my 10th Sigil of Power.
And thanks to the RNG, 26 Sigils of Wisdom.

I acquired over 10.000 Valor points in that time period and NOW Wrathion tells me i have to 'prove' myself by earning another 6000, meaning 5/6 weeks no matter what.

A barrier created for no other purpose then to prolong your subscription.

Apparently Blizzard has little faith in people sticking around just for the 'fun' of it.

5.3 PTR Patch Notes

A Test of Valor: Reduced the amount of Valor needed for this achievement to 3000 Valor Points, down from 6000.

So if you're behind (or bring a new alt up to speed) this quest just got up to 3 weeks shorter!

If you go to your achievement log and go to quests and then choose Pandaria, this achievement will be the last one in the list. Check the little box and then you can track this quest easily.

It appears that once you have achieved Un test de vaillance on your main (or any of your characters) you can no longer track it's progress on an alt.

I didn't see this mentioned anywhere so I figured I would share in case there are others like me. I got this quest and got really excited that I was already sitting on so much valor(2500+), I only had a couple hundred left to get before I had 3000 VP. Unfortunately, I realized afterward that the quest/achievement has only tracked the valor I earned since acquiring the quest, and does NOT factor in any valor I had gotten beforehand. What I thought would only be a short grind is now going to be at least 2 more weeks worth.

You can technically do this quest in 8 days now. First, don't earn any VP all week long. Then, pick up the quest on Monday and reach your weekly cap (yes, all 1000 valor) by the end of the day. You have a whole week to earn your next 1,000 valor. Then, earn your last thousand valor all on Tuesday after the reset.

It's kind of insane, but doable.

can i grind heroic dungeons or raid finder to complete this quest or is it only some dailies and only heroic raid bosses? i cant figure out why i have not moved up ive done daily quests and im still sitting at 1/3000... and the new ticketing system really sucks in game...

Okay - I haven't really seen this addressed yet (or it was so vague I missed it)...

I have this quest - and had to wait until today (Tuesday) for my Valor count to reset. I figured I could start easily getting Valor bu using the random first Dungeon/Scenario of the week that gives you extra Valor - but as it turns out...

These DO NOT count towards the quest. I have it on track and after completing both - I am STILL at 0/3000. So moving on the first Raids of the week and hopefully they will do something....

UPDATE: So I did a little "in-game" research - and talked to some players on the quest. It seems this is a coding issue. The quest says the count is still 0/3000 HOWEVER - if you look at the achievement for the quest - it will reflect your actual count. So hopefully the count is accurate on the back end where the actual quest is concerned and it's just a display issue. I submitted a bug report for it - hopefully they fix this...

If you got "Total Maximum" 3000/3000 and you "Weekly Maximum" not red, you better spend Valor Points or your progress will not count! You allowed to spend VP during this quest!

You can now track your progress on an alt after completing this quest on your main. While on your alt with the quest go to Achievement>Quests>Pandaria, find the completed quest, click on it and it will show you your alt's progress and give you a "Track" box to check on the left side. When checked you will see your alts progress in your screen quest list while on that alt.

For those who took a break and are ridiculously behind like me....

When you get to the third week of this quest, (2000/3000) make sure you don't do any of the TOT or SOO LFR's to get your last 1000 valor points. Get it through dailies, and heroic dungeons and other raids. So that when you get the continuation quest Les secrets du premier empire, you can jump right in and start getting your quest items. They only drop from any boss in ToT and the first 8 bosses in SoO.

My advice on this is simple. Timeless isle... frog farming. Pick up the Timeless isle dailies/weeklies... farm frogs... spend coins on valor, rinse and repeat. I was valor capped by the end of the day and could get on with more interesting things. Bit dull but easy. Good luck :)

So I took a break for about 8 months, and I'm absolutely certain I had been on this quest on one of my toons, but when I logged into it today, It's not in the quest log. In fact, there are only 4 quests in the log, which is what happens if you transfer a toon, but I'm sure that I haven't.

Anyone know of any bugs or anything Blizzard has done in the last 8-10 months that could have caused this? And anyone have first-hand experience to know if a GM will fix it? I opened a ticket, but with 2 day wait times... sigh.

saving up valor points prior to doing this quest does not count towards the 3000 and it'll still take you 3 long and drawn out weeks to get it finished...stupid valor cap

This quest can not be picked up anymore since the WoD pre-patch (6.0), meaning this grind is no longer part of the chain.

Warning! This quest is flagged for REMOVAL in 6.0.2, along with the starting quest for the Legendary chain, however the rest of the Legendary chain will remain until the release of Warlords of Draenor. If you've already begun and want your Legendary Cloak, you must finish before 11:59 PM on November 12th, 2014.

Do any of you know if it will be possible to actually get the cloak starting in patch 6.0 (just after the Test of Valor quest)? Considering that we only have 3-4 weeks before WOD hits, and you'd need to do both all of the Secrets of the Empire and Titan Runestones from raid drops?

I had this quest prior to 10/14 update... and was about 1800 into it... tonight the quest is gone. I went to the Black Prince and the follow up quests, A Change of Command and Glory to the Horde are available!
