My level 21 mage is decent geared and I got him down with a healing potion, but I managed to survive at 6% hp. It is indeed a good idea to bring a couple of friends with you, there are plenty of other players looking for members to do this quest since it gives nice rewards.

The elite is bigger and a red color so it's easy to distinguish it...

A healer will be needed if you wanna do this quest at lvl 20-24ish as the spider will have much more hp than you...

He has decent DPS and can poison so be prepared.

solod as 21 ret pally, wasnt to hard, just use divine once your almost dead, heal 2 times, 3 if you can, then battle her down, dont be shy with mana as you will use lay on hands to heal yourself fully at end and it shouldnt be hard. got me to 25% when i killed her.

btw: i used seal of command the whole fight, using hammer with it when i judge and judging whenever its up.

Unable to solo her as a 24 Warrior. Noone on Ragnaros seems to want to do this quest so I'm saving this till lvl 26.

Very easily solo'd as a level 22 Frost Mage, just be sure to Blink when she traps you

I beat it with my lvl 21 warlock, took me a few tries but I did it. Just had to distract him with my Walker at first then start putting curses on it then attacks with the bolts, when he starts coming to me I use fear then attack with bolts again, if when he comes back I used Fear again and just kept repeating till I killed it.

Level 24 hunter w/ pet. Clear the area immediately surrounding her. Set immolation trap, sent in the pet. Used bow until I pulled aggro. Once she hit the trap she was already down to about 30% health. Easy to take down w/ melee at that point. Barely lost any of my health, but had to mend pet once.

Yet another person able to clear it solo. Lvl 22 druid. Got a 5pt rip on the spider, shifted to caster, healed to near full and went bear form the rest of the way. ended the fight with about 2/3 full of hp.

I solod him as a 24 mage, but it took me a few tries, just remember to blink when he nets you, couse if he gets too close, hes fast and strong, so yeah, it hurts.

Solo'd as a lvl 19 Warlock. The spider took me and my voidwalker down to less than 25% health but we downed her.

So grateful that my fear bombs didn't aggro more mobs.

He spawns at 55, 72.

It's very easy to tell him from the other spiders because of his obvious red color. He has around 1.5k HP and poisons often so make sure you have a good healing potion at hand or preferably, a friend to help you kill him faster. I'm a hunter so I just got my pet to tank him, and I mended pet frequently.

Doable as a level 21 rogue, if you happen to be an engineer.

Ambushed him, used Target Dummy (even used feint, to give it some more aggro as it only lasts for 15 seconds), and saved evasion for the last bit.

I suggest getting help though :P

the normal (non-elite) spiders nearby drop a small venom sac occasionally. These can be made into anti-venom by a trained first-aider, which proves rather useful in this fight. Particularly when alone

Soloed as lvl 23 shadow priest. Started with Holy fire, SW:P, Mind Flay, Mind Blast, Feared when shield broke, mind blasted, mind flay, shield, mind flay, mind blast, fear again when up and she should be pretty dead. Got some lucky blackout procs wich really helped me. Had to use one mana pot too and Consume magic (Blood elf racial).

Stacking poison
Webs/Snares Primary Target then goes after second on agro list.

Was able to do it as a lvl20 lock with my Voidy. Had to use a Healthstone and a Health pot. When she snares the voidy fear her.

She has a LONG recharge timer for a quest npc. 10 minutes...which is even worse when you have a 41 noob warlock gnome (Saloon, Nordrassil) sitting there spawn camping the NPC. Took me about 30 minutes to get this done...

COURTESY TIP: If others are in the area doing the quest GROUP UP WITH THEM and kill together. That way you're all not sitting here waiting forever to get this done...

Also if you are 80 First Aid this area is a good place to level it up by farming for the venom sacks.

From where you got the quest, go to the west up a hill and you will see little green spider-type enemies, if you look on the clear other side, you will see a bigger red spider, that is who you have to kill and loot.

Easy as a feral druid in bear form. I lost maybe 200-350hp before it went down. In patch 2.4.2. I think it's easy for every class as it's not an elite, but the dps might be hard for cloth.

When you enter the area, stay on the right side. Up a little hill is Besseleth. Not too difficult. Found it with two mobs, but they weren't very aggro. Pulled one at a time.
