This is nice and easy instance, and not too long - only 3 bosses. Pulls are pretty straitforward, as are first and last boss. Second is maybe tougher - it is a mixture of Rend, Bat boss in ZG and Onyxia.

First you fight the rider while mount is throwing fire, then mount comes down. Trick is not to stand in the fire and to move from fire-cone.

I like it, kinda reminds me of early leveling anf RFC :)

Oh, and i dont know when and how i got this q, it just appeared in log. And i was doing all the quests i could get since arriving at Hellfire.

Damn, this dragon giving us some hard time with his dragon breath. Tank is in almost full Heroism set. Is there any way to predict the when the dragon will fire (similar how its done on bats in ZG? or do we just need a tank with good fire res?

If your Tank doesn't have a healthy amont of FR gear already, just buy some Greater FR pots and you will do better...

Although gear is always nice. ;)

You can return to Thrallmar and get this quest immediately after completing Forward Base: Reaver's Fall.

This is how we beat this instance:

2 rogues --> combat
2 druids --> 1 moonkin and 1 feral
1 priest --> holy/disc

We pulled mobs in groups, and utilized crowd control to the utmost. Hibernate for the dogs, sap for casters, and others.

First boss, straightforward DPS effort. No problems for any group.

Second boss, kill the 2 guards first, then arranged group around the boss. We DPSed the heck out of the guy. Felhunters he spawns are plain nuisances and not a problem.

Third boss starts when you drop the two guards. Prior to fight, use fire protection pots and/or FR gear. Wait for 2min cooldown to expire before starting. We choose to save mana by having the moonkin and priest move way back. Rogue sapped one guard, and the other was DPSed. Sapped guard then dropped with the same effort. Bandages applied.

Boss drops from dragon. Straight up DPS this guy. The idea is to kill him before dragon lands, roughly at 20-30% of boss' health. Keep whacking the boss until he is dead, then go for dragon. Had feral tank and keep him turned away from the group. Priest focused all heals on feral. Dragon uses AoE fire, so it is a MUST to keep facing the tank. Dragon dropped, and left behind a chest with a couple of blues.

No wipes, and only had 3 total deaths due to adds.

This is an easy instance for veterans. Well worth the quest reward to get this in. Not to mention the two socketed items that dropped from bosses 1 and 2.

What level can you pick up the Weaken the Ramparts quest?

You do not need to do the quests listed below and mentioned in a post above to be able to get Weaken the Ramparts:

While twinking my DK for Battlemaster's Breastplate from The Foot of the Citadel, I saw that Stone Guard Stok'ton was already open to give the quest. My DK is still Neutral with Thrallmar, so reputation does not seem to be an issue either.

Description

Quick, there isn't much time. Thrallmar's existence balances on the razor's edge!

We're caught between Hellfire Citadel in the west and the Burning Legion to the east. With the Legion's attention turned toward the Dark Portal we must take this opportunity to strike at the fel orcs of Hellfire Citadel. The key to this is to first break through their ramparts!

Go there, slay their leaders, and then bring back proof to Caza'rez across the room from me!
