Worn by all classes - most flavor gear is made out of this to allow access to everybody. eg: Lunettes de soleil en strass

Unlike all the other armor skills - cloth has no specialization attached to it... instead, cloth only classess gain inherient specializations that increase int by 5%. eg: Sorcellerie for mages.

Tissu is one of four types of armor proficiencies, listed below from lowest-to-highest, base, armor value.

Cloth (skill, spell)
Leather (skill, spell)
Mail (skill, spell)
Plate (skill, spell)

Cloth armor can be crafted by the Couture profession.

Although ALL classes can physically wear it, Cloth is intended for Mage, Prêtre, and Démoniste classes at all levels.
As such, since these "clothies" cannot wear any other armor type, they don't need any passive, armor specialization talents to dissuade them from looting other armor types.

Instead, to make up for the unequal stat bonuses, each class learns their own passive ability at level 50:
