Nowaday ,"Khan" uses for calling popular famous person .
It's traditional type of " Sir " title .

Khan (Khagan) was orginally a title for leaders of Turkish/Mongolian War-Clans.Then it's spread to central asia.
It's still common name as Kağan/Khagan/Kaan in Turkey ,dunno about Mongolia ,but hey it's great to see it's in the game.

the point is the title khan is exclusively a male title. female title alternative to khan is khatun.(as in king and queen or emperor and empress)

I earned this achievement about 3 weeks ago, and noticed something peculiar. While the achievement for this is account wide, the title is not. Perhaps an oversight from the developers, but I found it odd that it hasn't been mentioned in any comments or discussions yet. Battlemaster is the same as well.

It's a reference to Genghis Khan, leader of the mongolian people (also named tartars, because they were so strong in battle, feared by everyone). So:
This title (battlegrounds victories) means you are so strong in PVP and in some way you are ''feared'' because you won all battles.
