It seems there is no proc for combat rogue during fight (like smoke when performing mutilate). I have tested all abilities, no visible results.

As for a fitting Tabard for this set... I personally use the Tabard of the Brute Force (300 Arena wins).

I'm using legendary cloak and the Elite Tyrannical Gladiator's Shanker. For Horde players, Hellscream's Reach Tabard matches pretty well. The red color is slightly off but it's not too noticeable.

After spending more time (and gold) looking through daggers to match my set, than the actual challenge mode dungeons, I've come to the conclusion that any dagger which hides the Dancing Steel glow looks good with this set. It really comes down to personal preference.

Here's some noteworthy daggers that ignore enchant effects:
* Lame de pisteur - Bright Red
* Croc de l'esprit / Griffe du sage - Purple
* Crocs incisés / Dague sacrificielle de ritualiste saurok / Croc du sans-visage - Black
* Lame dorée incendiaire - Bright Gold, almost Fiery
* Lame de la perdition / Lame légère azur - Gold / Yellow
* Lame de nuit / La lame de la pénombre / La Lame du Crépuscule / La Lame du Crépuscule - Black & Red
When in doubt, Night Blade for any transmog!

The MoP (Rogue) Challenge Mode transmog set is going to be no longer available with the release of the Warlords of Draenor pre-launch event patch, or slightly before then.

The reasoning for removal of the sets is summarized by Bashiok on the WoW forums:

The short of it is, Challenge Mode is based on it being a challenge with current mechanics and, lots of mechanics will be changing in the pre-expansion patch.

Brise-cervelle is, in my opinion, the best match for this set. The colors blend perfectly, and compliment each other.

A decent alternative for the belt is Belt of Flayed Skin from Warlord Zon'ozz in Dragon Soul. It's a relatively good match.

This is what I've got to this set, looks sick imo.
A really cool head especially on Undead is Casque de dirigeable anti-choc
but for some races and if you dont really like a epic farmer hat then I'd suggest going Vision maudite de Sargeras
In Warlords of Draenor they released a head that you get from questing which I use atm Heaume de chevaucheur de bêtes

For tabard you could go Tabard du clan Gueule-de-dragon- Horde only
I go with Tabard de flammes cause I have the bloody dancing steel enchants which looks awesome
But even better is the Tabard du gladiateur furieux if you got that back in WoTLK

For daggers do I use
Lame de nuit
or
Perforeuse mantide de Wodin

I see lots of dagger suggestion, but nothing for 1h/fist weapons.
1h: I found 2 without really trying. I prefer Sun-Forged Cleaver , but Xifeng works as well.
Fist: Fist/Claw of Molten Fury works perfectly, however since WoD is "soon" you could use The Bladefist to act the part :P

This is whas i've been using since i rolled to a human, took a male for first time simply cuz the shoulders are good looking on them i will make a lil list for what i use and what i should take incase i reroll to a undead for example!

Currently i use:
Dagger: Dent de chien du magma
Tabard: Tabard des Gardiens de Baradin

i dont use a cape for now but if i would i would use iether Cape du dieu déchu or Pèlerine de sergent

Optional tabard:
Tabard de flammes (normaly i only use this when walking in T2 Bloodfang Armor)

if i would roll back to horde i would take

Dagger: Dent de chien du magma
Tabard: Tabard d'Orgrimmar or Tabard du clan Gueule-de-dragon

and cape incase i would use it Cape du dieu déchu but i rly dont like a cape tho.

I personally prefer to transmog the helm. I find Heaume du gladiateur haineux en cuir or Couvre-œil d'écumeur-dimensionnel match nicely one gives it an assassin feel the other more of a swashbuckler.

If you're undead (haven't tried other races) Perforeuse du gladiateur sans pitié looks amazing the bone in the dagger with the bone on your toon really contrasts and matches the set.

Nobody did not mention this dagger Rasoir d'Alysra drops off Alysrazor in Terres de Feu 10 and 25 man normal mode. There is one more dagger Perforeuse incendiaire d'Avool which is same model, however it is shared boss loot and may take a much more time to see drop. Can not drop off Ragnaros. Both models does not hide your current weapon enchant.

The item that gives "smoke bomb effet" is BELT so if you don't like the set you can just wear belt with that transmog and enjoy the effect.

For anyone interested in a cape for this set, personally I use Cape de l'Assaut écarlate récupérée as my go to. It matches damn near perfectly, both in pattern and colour.

As far as cloaks go, I found Cloak of Overflowing Energies from Ko'ragh to be perfect for this set, but good luck getting it. It's an Intellect cloak, so you can't even get it out of LFR. Hopefully your guild is understanding about your obsession with transmog.

I'm using Frostwolf Boot Knife and Steamscar Sabre for weapons, since the "savage" look is fitting for Warlords.

I still haven't found a Tabard I like that is still obtainable, but Furious Gladiator's Tabard is perfect if you already have it.

IMO the best match for this set is Tranche-corde de parachute. Unfortunately this model seems to be available only to Horde players.

Here we are deep into Legion expansion and still no smoke effect for combat *cough* i mean outlaw spec. Side note i think belt creates smoke when you use primary combo generation ability.
