Tier one for Hunters that drops in Molten core. A personal favourate for my dorf Hunter and goes well with core marksman rifle, the recepie to this also drops off the Molten core Bosses(link to item below)

I have found that Carabine ornée en khorium for ranged and Trique d'émeute for the Staff transmog make this set look complete. If you want a polearm Gangréchine frissonnante may suit your needs.

This set uses the default (grey-red) variant of the "Hunter Raid A" artwork and consists of the complete eight-piece Hunter Tier 1 set.

There are actually four different colour variants of this artwork, but only two are available in the game. The other one is the yellow-brown (officially "Outland Orange") used by Giantstalker Armor (Recolor).

The remaining two colours, "Outland Green" and "Outland Blue" don't seem to have any significant numbers of pieces in the game (the gloves, Main-forte d'Ar'tor use the green colouring). The colouring for each looks fairly similar to this Tier 1 set, but with the red replaced with green or blue, respectively.

Does anyone have a suggestion for alternate shoulders that go with this set? I really like the set except for those big, blocky shoulders, Ugh! Thanks

Im using Chanteflèches with the full T1, see how the skull image on the bow matches with the one one the chest ;-)

I would just like to say that I'm having a really hard time getting all these pieces as the same drops seem to occur each time I run molten core. If anyone has any advice for me I would appreciate it, but otherwise I'm just making a note really :P

I'm using this on my Hunter with few additions I'd like to share with everyone

Tabard : Tabard du Soleil brisé - Exalted with Shattered Sun Offensive
Staff : Bâton du seigneur de la forêt - 780 Justice Points from Vendors in Shattrah City & Isle of Quel'Danas
Bow : Vishanka, les Crocs de la terre - Drop from Madness of Deathwing Normal

And if you want to use a cloak : Cape des cheveux gris - 1250 Justice Points from Vendors in Orgrimmar and Stormwind
*There are couple of other cloaks with the same model but this one is easiest to get.
I'm not using a Polearm right now but I have one prepared in my bank that would fit well :

A bow from this expansion actually seems to look quite nice with this set. The colors on Arc long tournoyant d'Ennadee seem to match well.

For anyone who would perfer a gun that is rarely seen and still matches, i use Eventreur à fusée sans recul X-54 I think it goes quite well with it. My hunter is a female dwarf and it looks good on her

I've got my Armure de traqueur de géant long ago, but never wore it because of the helmet (it look just awful in most races). A few days ago I was thinking of a way of not transmogging my Cape de croc du tigre, and it hit me:
Armure de traqueur de géant with no helmet!
And then it hit me again:
Armure de traqueur de géant + Ventaille de l'échine d'acier (from Ombre d'Aran in Karazhan), which match almost perfectly with the color theme.

Btw, it's the only mail headpiece with this model (the others are plate), so don't waste time looking for it in another color for other sets.

Cloak:
Cape de gargouille peau de pierre usée makes a great cloak if you still haven't got the "Legendepic" Cape de croc du tigre. Or if you don't mind changing the aspect of the Tigerfang Wrap (or if you are wearing any other backpiece), you could try Cape du Cœur-fendu

Guns:

Émissaire de mortalité makes quite a cool match.
Eventreur à fusée sans recul X-54 (mostly for tauren or dwarves)
Carabine de tireur d'élite endurci

Crossbows:

That is, of course, if you haven't had a chance to get your paws on Arc long de la frappe frénétique (Horde) which looks just epicly perfect on this, or Rhok'shalla, la plaie de l'ombre (Alliance) which goes quite cool, too.

Take a look at the FULL SET (three options with minor changes)

As for the set itself -together with all T1 sets- it drops completely and exclusively in Cœur du Magma, from:
Garr: Casque de traqueur de géant
Messager de Sulfuron: Épaulettes de traqueur de géant
Golemagg l’Incinérateur: Cuirasse de traqueur de géant
Shazzrah: Gants de traqueur de géant
Magmadar: Jambières de traqueur de géant
Gehennas: Bottes de traqueur de géant

Ceinture de traqueur de géant and Brassards de traqueur de géant drop from trash mobs, mostly from Ancien chien du magmas (though those in packs before Magmadar won't drop anything). Since they are BoE, you can also find them in the AH.

The whole instance is soloable by any lvl 90, but I'd advice you to go with at least two friends of different classes who are also hunting for this tier set. It should make it a little more enjoyable (and just a little faster, too) and may make you suffer a little less if you keep getting pieces for other classes (at least a friend would be enjoying them)

Bonus Tracks:

If you are also hunting from T2 from Repaire de l’Aile noire, Ragnaros can drop Garde-jambes de traqueur de dragon (or any other T2 legpiece).
Sulfuras, Main de Ragnaros and Lame-tonnerre, épée bénie du Cherchevent are crafted from pieces which also drop here.

And if you want to be a little more original, there's a Recolor Set:

Head: Heaume de traqueur dimensionnel (sold by G'eras in Shattrath) / Masque de bataille mok'nathal (from Lieutenant Drake in Contreforts de Hautebrande d’antan)
Shoulders: Manteau imposant de la chasse (from Commandant Sarannis in La Botanica)

Waist: Ceinturon de chasse telaari (from Grand démoniste Néanathème in Les salles Brisées) / Ceinturon de la flamme vivante (from Hungarfen in La Basse-tourbière)
Legs: Cnémides de traqueur noir (from La Traqueuse noire in La Basse-tourbière)
Feet: Bottes du traqueur sauvage (from Gardien des guetteurs Gargolmar in Remparts des Flammes infernales)
Wrists: Brassards de lanceur de runes (reward from Un compte à régler (H) or Les rois-liches ont des oreilles (A) in Donjon d’Utgarde) / Brassards de la fin du monde (from Keli'dan le Briseur in La Fournaise du sang) / Brassards de Shirrak (from Shirrak le Veillemort in Cryptes Auchenaï) / Brassards du rôdeur des forêts (from Selin Cœur-de-Feu in Terrasse des Magistères)
Hands: Main-forte d'Ar'tor (reward from La Formule de damnation - Troisième fragment retrouvé in Vallée d’Ombrelune). Now: There are not gloves for this recolor. These are actually for the "Outland Green" recolor, which is not complete. If you don't like how they look with the rest of the set, an interesting option could be Réplique des gants de bestiaire from Île de Sombrelune, or its recolor, Gants de la guerilla dans la brousse (Beastmaster's replica)

I love the first set that Suej put together! Unfortunately, it looks like the bow is no longer available.

I just threw together a set without much thought using pieces I had laying around; pretty easy pieces to pick up. I still need the boots, but for now, I'm using the following:

Head: Heaume de la grâce lupine
Back: Cape ignifugée
Waist: Ceinture du pisteur
Boots: Solerets d'accostage en anneaux
Xbow: Arbalète trait de lave

And wala! My first item set for your 3D viewing pleasure. Clearly, the boots aren't a great match & for some reason the weapon isn't showing in the 3D viewer. :(

With the boots being easy to get, I'll be pleased with this set. That's my girl!
