The wings comes at random times EVEN if you are using this as your transmogrified gear. That alone is enough to make it worth getting! =D

Edit: As of a later patch the wings will come when you jump, or fall of a high place. As a bit of extra information the wings will not show if you transmog to the helm, then hide it.

Granted, it's not as perfect a match as Anetheron's Noose, but Ceinture œil-de-braise is a decent substitute if you have the rep.

Currently the set is bugged since 4.3.2 went live, the wings now open up every time you jump or fall off a high ledge, they no longer randomly activate.

A quick fact list about the wings:

-Wings will appear when jumping or falling.

-You don't need to have the whole set transmogrified for the wings to show up, only the head.

-If you hide the head, wings wont show up.

-If you use anything that hides or changes the head, wings wont show up (i.e. Corne à boire vrykule).

-If you are in demon form, wings wont show up.

-Wings will show up while in Demon Hunting and when using its Demonic Leap.

-If you jump while channeling/casting, wings wont show up.

-For some reason, wings are also activated when Ange de la mort occurs.

-And finally, sometimes the wings will bug and wont appear at all, if this happens remove your helm and then re-equip it.

If looking for an off hand to go with this set, try Lidless Orb. It goes really well with the colors in the set and the swirly fire vapor coming off it looks neat too :)

After checking out the entire database I have to say, the only perfect boots match would be Ruby Slippers from The Crone (Opera Event) from Karazhan.

Also the staff I'd go with is Zhar'doom, Greatstaff of the Devourer from Illidan Stormrage in Black Temple

Despite no longer matching the set, I have to say in my personal opinion Bottes du maléfice still go rather well with the set in-game, adding a sort of 'ashes at the bottom of the flame' look.

I like using Heartrazor as a dagger with this set. I think it fits perfectly with its red glow.

Ok, this deal, I am going w/ this set when my lock hits 90 soon, I am going w/ the sword called La Brise-vœux . What I am getting to is, what will b a good off hand that will go w/ the sword and set? Can anybody or anyone or all can help w/ this? Do not get me wrong all the comments helped here, but there was none on the offhand to go w/ the set and/or weapon, :-)

Ok, I think I found 3 off-hands that would go good w/ La Brise-vœux , here they r Talisman de Plaie-de-Nuit , Sceau langue-de-feu, & Blind-Seers Icon = http://www.wowhead.com/item=32361. I would like a comeback on this 3 if ya do not mind, i think these would go great this this xmog set also. I really think Talisman de Plaie-de-Nuit really goes w/ La Brise-vœux and xmog set, but and will what for some comebacks and see, but I really think this is the one set to go w/, YEA :-)

I think this set is one of the coolest looking for warlocks (as well as the ), but that screenshot in the thumbnail of the Worgen cracks me up. It looks like a retriever that has put on ski goggles or something.
