I wonder if they're going to let us have lookalike pieces for the old ZG sets the way they gave us lookalike pieces you can buy at the new Faire for the Tier 0/0.5 sets. That would be neat. I'm hoping we can get Tier 3 lookalikes at some point too.

The chestpiece looks strangely out of place in an otherwise sweet looking set. Something dead black would be awesome not only for this set, but for other transmogging purposes as well. Or at least the dark blood red colour of the boots.

This is a strange mishmash of multiple armor sets.

The chestpiece is from Ravager Mail.
The belt and gloves resemble Slayer's Mail.
The boots are the only mail version of Bottes de barde
The pants resemble the un-moggable Pantalon de smoking.

All of these items have a low chance to drop from the following 6 Scholomance mini-bosses at the end of the instance.

These bosses also drop items for cloth, leather, and plate sets.

Some people like collecting and mogging it all to show that they've farmed a fun old-world instance thoroughly, others will pick and choose what is best for a personalized transmog set :)

Very cool looking hunter xmog set. Like already stated, these items drop from the last few bosses in Scholomance. Here are a few options to complete the look:

- CHEST: The chest doesn't quite match, but Felscale Breastplate matches the links in the gloves rather well.
- SHOULDERS: Skeletal Shoulders, Heavy Scorpid Shoulders or Mistshroud Shoulders all look nice with this set.
- WEAPONS: Ancient Bone Bow will probably drop while you are farming this set, and it looks pretty cool.

EDIT: As always Crown of destruction looks great with almost any set, and Sawbones Shirt dropped for me while farming. It's a great match with the red in this armor set.

It appears that Docteur Theolen Krastinov is wearing this set, except with a pair of Gants de barde textured/coloured gloves (which match these boots), his Chemise du scieur d'os and a couple of Fendoir du Bouchers.

As of 5.0.4. this set is no longer obtainable due to the revamp of Scholomance!

With the addition of cosmetic armor in 5.3, including sets from scholomance, hopefully this set will return! Fingers crossed!

From a game development point of view I just can't understand why they would not have transmog in mind when revamping old content. This gear was deleted long after transmog had cemented as a CORE aspect of the game. If it was an accident make up for it, if it wasn't an accident then whats up?

Admittedly, after learning about Ensemble : armure défias noircie, I thought (or, rather, hoped) there would be an analogue for this set, particularly for pants.

At least so far, however, it doesn't seem like there is anything of the sort.
