Actually Fin du cauchemar is considered better for demo locks because of the higher bonus from demonic pact.

what's the go with this wand having 4 less haste and 2 less SP than the regular version?
I know with a reckless ametrine gem you can get the socket bonus but all in all you are really only getting an equivalent of 21 or so more SP. Compare that to the Frozen Bonespike heroic version which has some +118 SP and you get my drift.
