When Wow Armory still had the AH, I reposted every day (I'm a 12h auction kinda guy) - now I'm happy if I even hit once every 2 days. But I make a special effort for weekends as I find I sell more then. I'd say I'm roughly comfortable with 1 market now. I was pretty good with the crafted armour for the Obliterum Forge back in the day, and I was doing decently in the past with green gear; I don't really get it now. Next, I'm going to learn up TSM so I'm hopefully more efficient - the default interface is quite rubbish. Maybe spend some time farming up stuff that should sell well once BfA hits.
I'm expecting two major peaks to come in the near future of the token price. After those spikes, the price will sit higher than it was just before them, ofc. And those spikes will be:#1 August. With the prepatch and the xpack the price of the token will go up again, and it will happen pretty fast. #2 When Activision finally adds CoD to battle.net launcher. Atm, if you want go to CoD website you can already log in using your Blizzard account
I have a friend which used to farm the Crocs-lames de Sombrelune with a fishing bot. Recently he came to me and said: "Do you know what happened, Blizzard invented something to track fishing bots, how a I going to get those stupid fishing achievements now?".I've been fishing for about a year now every month on the Île de Sombrelune and noticed an increase in price of these fish. They used to sell at my realm for about 20-30g with spikes around the week before the Faire but now they easily sell for over 70g. This is great for us "hard working" gold makers out there!Apart from the fishing for gold I don't really like any of the games. The only thing I do is the daily pet battles for a chance on one of the 2? pets you can get to get a little increase in profit from the Faire.
God bless Blizzard for balance of money-making/spending. Bfa in august may become the new age of economy standart for the next 2-5 years(2 expansions) to the oldest examples of economy we would remember on classic realms.
I was with some problems with the house of actions, and I'm happy with the methods shown because it helped me a lot about my problem, about the event, I did not have the opportunity to participate, but now I'm better able to do this
Glad you said something about the DMF going away - gonna focus it this week to get that damn zepplin mount
only way i make Gold is the champion missions. tried the AH but was noticing i wasnt selling much cause everyone is always way undercutting everyone else
I earn most of my gold from active, or semi-active, gameplay. I have 3 Order Halls running gold missions (and another that is at level 108 via Invasions), I run about 5 Emmisaries per week on my 3 level 110's (they often reward 5-900g and if not they help keep my Resources topped up) and I try to do as many Argus gold WQ's as I can whenever they are up. Combined with Bodyguards who earn gold per WQ completed, this is a tidy sum. I also pick-up and then sell the materials I come across (Ore and Herbs, mostly), plus whatever comes from the Shoulder Enchant satchels. I don't much enjoy straight farming, so I hadn't considered the DMF as much of an option (and I've mostly ignored fishing since reaching 800 skill), but the fish/food combo seems like it might be worthwhile. Professions in general haven't gotten any of my attention in Legion, though I do have the recipe for the Blacksmithing mount and this DMF I will finally get the last 5 skill points to be able to make it!I know I could do more if I had a little more time to play with the AH, but overall I am still netting 5-600k per month, and more if I happen to get a good BoE while raiding or if there is a Holiday Pet I can farm & sell. I made that much just selling Naxxy pets during last Hallow's End, for example, but that's not always possible since new items aren't usually added every year.
I don't usually participate in the Darkmoon Faire but I really want to make part of that. The first week of every month is a little busy for me but I need those Achievements (and money)! Some day I'll be there!
Whats my preferred WoW Token price? Hmm im fine with it being 300k but reaching 380 feels too much, especially now when supply/demand is in favor of supply and people hardly buy anything. Really wish there were a cap on token's price.
Breg's suggestions are very useful! Thanks to his advice I managed to earn over 5500G in a few days :D
Woah, didn't know I could actually make gold out of the Darmoon Faire. Usually I go there because reputation buff is awesome (I always remember my Hydraxian Waterlords farming at WoD's ending)It could be because I'm on a lowpop server, but the Daggermaw didn't sell a lot.
How often do you repost your auctions? How many markets do you feel comfortable in? What are you going to do next to expand your gold-making?Its depends on item, from 2 times a day to one per 48h. For now I’m working on 5 different markets. Nothing now, I will wait for BfA then I will try something new.
I miss the old days of flying up and down the tolvir area grabbing herbs and making loads of cash. it was obviously broken as heck, boring and repetitive, but it was good gold.
The Darkmoon Faire is always something I use primarily as a good hook for new players when they just join the game, it works as the perfect example of how silly and fun WoW can be and introduces a lot of rewarding collectibles that sets the stage for their WoW Career.
I thought I already wrote in here, but it seems I am wrong.Discussion PointHow often do you participate in the Darkmoon Faire? Have you ever used the event to make gold? What's your favourite Darkmoon Faire game?Every months usually. Yes, it was how I made money when I returned to the game. I fished (back then you could get everything with only 1 fishing skill) and fished because of the bloated shark... and send all the tickets to my main, this way I could afford heirlooms, because Ir emember how hard it was back in the day to get fitting gear all the time.My favorite is the flying with wings. fireworks, flying and wings! wonderful! though the cannon comes in a close second.Easiest is the turtle, once you know what to do. Discussion PointWhat kind of maximum price would you pay for a Token with gold? Do you prefer to pay for your game time with a paid subscription even if class yourself as a gold-maker? Do you buy Tokens to give yourself some gold in-game, if not how much gold would you need to get before you did so?At the moment money is a bit tight, so I pay via gold. since I got a lot of chars its easy to make atm. What I will do when I can't do that anymore, I don't know. I don't need gold, or rarely do, I have al the professions and get everything myself. BUt I would also stop, when the price is higher what I can make on the side. Because otherwise it becomes work and WoW is supposed to be a game and fun.
Gimmeh game teim yeth yeth. wooooooo
How often do you repost your auctions? How many markets do you feel comfortable in? What are you going to do next to expand your gold-making?I try to run at least 2 cancel scan a day; right before server reset, and before I log for the night. As far as markets go I try to craft something from each profession. I always try to have something up from my profs. I would like to comment about Breg’s video series for a second. I have watched his new gold making series and have tried to follow his suggestions. I have gotten no where near the results that he has. I craft the “profitable” items from the professions and seem to spend more time canceling and reposting my crafts. Very few of my auctions actually sell.
The winner has been posted. Congrats to kinglou9588! Thank you everyone for participating.
