So if you're looking to collect the appearances for the recolors, you have to craft the item multiple times instead of upgrading an existing item like you did in WoD, since Recraft doesn't work on WoD items.

So I tried using these in the Tannery crafting menu and let me warn you that THEY DO NOT WORK. It will consume your reagents but won't consume the essence.
