Il s'est ajouté à ma collection au Château Nathria, avant le pull d'Hurlaile... J'ai d'abord cru à un bug, mais en lisant les commentaires anglais, je suppose qu'un ally m'a ciblé et à cliqué sur la monture. J'espère que ce n'était pas une erreur de sa part, mais s'il passe par ici, je le remercie.

Si vous êtes sur un personnage Alliance, vous pourrez looter pour vous une première fois : Rênes de griffon noir vorace.
Ensuite vous pourrez relooter la monture via l'item qui s'appelle Don du griffon noir vorace. Comme son nom l'indique, cet objet est destiné à être donné à un hordeux, il vous suffit de le cibler, de cliquer sur la monture et elle tombe directement dans son codex.
De même côté Horde avec le Cor du Loup de guerre blanc et le Don du loup de guerre blanc.

So, I just got this item and took a minute to figure it out. This is technically the Alliance mount, but it can only be GIFTED to a Horde character. Simply target the Horde character in the world and then click the item in your bags. They will then automatically learn the mount! Kind of a cool feature!

If you are Alliance and you get this as loot, you can target a Horde Player, click on the item, and it will give it to them.
Poof! It will leave your bag and be theirs. Pretty cool trick I think. 😃

This can drop from rifts, can be shared with any horde player or friends. I got it and another mount at the same time.

Appears it cannot be bought but can drop after getting Reins of the Ravenous Black Gryphon

Edit - You can get this numerous times. I’ve given four away. Will test if it’s guaranteed from every rift now that I have all vendor items.

I can confirm that you can gift this mount to someone on a different server if you're in the same group. It seems that as long as you can target someone, regardless of server, the item works.

Want to gift the mount to one of your friends or guildies? They don't need to have a fully leveled toon on the opposite faction, and that toon doesn't need to be on the same server.

1. Be friends on battle.net (not sure if you can /invite someone on the opposite faction by name-server)
2. Invite each other to a party
3. Meet in a common place (Valdrakken, Legion Dalaran via hearthstone, WoD Ashran via capital city portal room, etc)
4. Click on your friend and gift!

If you are looking to trade the mount, check the Custom Group Finder by logging onto the opposite faction and asking them to list their group in Legacy Raids category.

Alliance/Horde cannot see each other's groups in the Custom Group section, but a lot of people are listing the mounts there for trade.

If you are struggling getting this as a Horde player, get an invite from a friend on an Alliance heavy RP realm, like Argent Dawn EU, (or create an alt and invite yourself through group finder), since RP realms take priority on phasing you'll be moved to the RP realm (not entirely sure if level trumps RP realm, should you make an alt). After that get up on a big mount and stand right in front of where people exit from the boss kill, it's very likely an Alliance player who just got the drop will use it on you. At least that is how I got mine!

This item works on players who are cross-faction (obviously), cross-realm, AND on players who have not participated in the time rift where you won the gift token. The mount will automatically be added to your target's mount journal when you use the item.

I've gotten this on 100% of the Rift's I've completed since the first time I got it two days ago. Not sure if that is supposed to be a thing or not. I've had the Gryphon since the rifts launched, but didn't get this gift until Sunday, and have gotten it on the last 5 or 6 rifts.

Just got this for the first time. One thing that wasn't obvious to me is that this is the same mount that you can buy as alliance for 3000 fragments from the warlands vendor; you aren't out of luck if you can't find someone to gift it to you. Realizing this made me a lot less worried about "wasting" this due to not having anyone to trade with for the wolf. After the first few horde people I tried to gift this to failed due to the game saying they already had the mount, I found some random person afk'd in Valdrakken who I was able to gift it to, so I hope they enjoyed the surprise

This shows up as a small line of yellow text that reads "You have added the mount Ravenous Black Gryphon to your collection." No big loot ding or link to the item or anything. I got mine while I was in the flying ship's room getting the quest item on the ground after the boss.

These have become basically useless this late in the patch cycle (8/24/2023, late 10.1.5), as there's basically no Horde players (without the mount already) to use it on.

Honestly, Blizzard should have just made both "faction versions" available to buy from the same vendor regardless of your own faction.

Just to confirm, this can be used on low-level players who do not have the Dragonflight expansion. I gifted to a level 30 friend who is new to the game and they got the mount.

Maybe I'm just dim, but I did not realize how to use this item at first. I thought that I had to give the item to a Horde player, but I couldn't trade it or mail it to a guy in my community. After I gave up on that, it clicked that I should TARGET the Horde player and then use the item on them.

I just want to the Druid Class Order Hall and used it on a bear using the mission table. Figured I'd make this comment in case anyone else is confused.

This mount popped up as an Alliance Hunter waved and bowed at me, and I was so confused at how I had a new mount, and simply bowed back while I hopped over to WoWHead to see if this was a bug or something. I had no idea this item was a thing. O_O

By the time I read up on it, the Hunter had ran off before I could properly thank her. I hopped onto one of my Alliance alts and whispered a hearty thanks! What a brilliant idea this type of item is! Made my night. X')

These items drop from Time Rifts, with an equivalent for both factions. The Horde version is Cor du Loup de guerre blanc, the Alliance version is Don du griffon noir vorace.

I do wish that it came with a message e.g. " has just gifted you this mount" because by the time I'd got round to checking it on Wowhead, and realised that someone had kindly given it to me, there wasn't anyone around and I had no idea who thank.

So thank you kind stranger, on behalf of myself and and everyone else who didn't know what happened until it was too late!

I'll pay it back to someone if I ever get the reverse item.
