Got one of these from the final (Thrall's) chest of Horrific Vision. Troop's trait: Éradiquer la corruption activated only once out of 3 missions and gave 72 Corrupted Mementos. Contract is consumed on use.

While during the first week these did seem somewhat disappointing, with the proc chance on mementos being around 1/3 only, however this past week I do believe they have been buffed, as I'm getting 100% chance on mementos, and not just on one or two troop, I'm talking 11 characters, all with these contracts, and again, without fail, every single time they return with about 55-70 mementos. Could use more confirmation from others, but so far I'm liking these.

Edit, 3 days later : Can 100% confirm it at this point, the drop rate for mementos is 100% now.

It says I've reached maximum capacity of followers and can't deactivate them. Deactivate option exists but greyed out.

I got this today, after completing 2 medium bonus objectives in my horrific visions scenario, in the loot collection aftermath phase (the end).

On use, it gave me a Veteran Rajani Sparkcaller (ranged troop) on my mission board roster, that had the veteran buff unlocked. Note it was consumed on use.

Update:
I've consistently had 1 of these (or the standard ranged, mounted or melee ones) from one of the bonus end cache's in each run (but never 2 in the same run, so far). I've managed several 2 medium bonuses now, but it's not a lot of data to go by I know.

As noted, you do indeed require an empty troop slot to be able to use these.

Note, all of the veteran troop recruitment scrolls are not bound to you, you can freely buy+sell these on the AH!

Update2:
This past 2 week's runs, I've done the exact same (successfully done both medium bonus areas and end boss), and seemingly come away with no contracts at all (or any gear either?). So... now I'm not sure if this is intended, or if the loot system is still buggy as hell? :\

Update3:
This week I managed to complete all 4 bonus areas, including one time with a mask on (yay!), and... only got a single contract (from the run with the mask on). Either I was crazy lucky on the first week (or unlucky now), or things are really weird loot wise... :\

Update4:
It's been 3mths now, and many many many vision runs. I've completed full clears with multiple masks (all 5 in fact), and nothing seems to adjust the drop rate of these contracts. I'm inclined to think I was very lucky on first week, or that they've had a stealth nerf to the drop rate (down to about ~20% maybe?)
