This dropped for me from a named mob in the Dracthyr starting zone. Using it granted me Earth Shield for 10 minutes and gave me a gray item with flavor text in my inventory.

I had not used this item, but it was still gone when logging back in after a quick relog. Killing the mob again only gives gold..

Killed Ketess for this...? Tome dropped, but when I opened it - it was a gray item worth 5s to vendor! Cost me more than that in repairs!

When used, it gives Earth Shield --> Damage taken reduced by 15%, Triggers a heal when struck by an attack. This last 10 minutes.
This is like the other treasures in this zone, it gives a small temporary buff.
