To be able to see the treasure you need to get Carte de Yennu. You can find it in Thaldraszus next to Yennu npc. Coordinates are 54.91 75.45.
Use the notes and the treasure's location will be marked on your map. If it isn't - re-enter Thaldraszus zone, the mark should appear. Treasure is in the sand pile.

As of launch day, clicking on the Sand Pile (after getting the map) came up empty but still clickable... Likely bugged and will try again later

Yennu had been hiding 185 Gold 23 Silver 43 Copper, it's yours now.

Did the map, did not get toy, got 5 x Weathered Sculpture (grey item sells for 259g 25s 20c) and 185 fold 23 silver and 43 copper. Perhaps this is a daily or weekly attempt chance.

Not sure why, but when I talk to him I don't get any map, he just tells me to go find the treasure. Maybe I interacted with him while leveling and activated the map, but I can't see the treasure now, 1 week later when I'm interested in it

I have done all quest lines in this area ....disabled addons....reload screen and still can not see the map next too Yennu....what else can I do....

Okay everyone, I think I'm going to shed some light on all of this. I'm currently waiting for a response back from the Blizzard GMs, but I don't think we're actually supposed to be able to loot a "Sandy Wooden Duck" as there's no page for it on WoWHead, nor is there a toy in the Toy Box. I'm thinking that the Sculpture érodée that is looted from Tas de sable WAS the "Sandy Wooden Duck" as if you recall this area, time is being wonky. Thus why the Trésors de Thaldraszus procs for the "Sandy Wooden Duck" in your achievement log. If the GMs say something otherwise, I'll update this post, but at this time I'm just going to chalk it up to "bad hearsay" that the Sandy Wooden Duck is an actual Toy in game.

Update: GM confirmed that my theory is exactly what has happened. So for everyone who's searching still for the "Sandy Wooden Duck," stop. You are just getting those greys and the gold.

Reading the comments here and having just done this myself, I can safely say that it's just a step in an achievement. Once I completed the step, I looked for the toy in my bags. Nothing. Open the achievement, I had completed that step.

To paraphrase Neo: There is no toy.

The Sandy Wooden Duck is part of the Trésors de Thaldraszus achievement in Thaldraszus.

It is not a toy or pet.
