Background and additional information:

Jonathan LeCraft was a senior game designer who wrote the novels 2005-2018. The current author is a unknown. Eric Browning was lead prop artist who illustrated the novels from 2014-2018. They deserve some very overdue credit and recognition! Thank you for the years of smiles and laughter.

Mo Passe-Temps and/or Andray Malrot were the in-game authors of the novels. Noah Scribelin seems to have taken over, starting with Un roman d’amour torride : Sur des mers convulsées.

Per the book Exploring Azeroth: The Eastern Kingdoms, the novels are used for secret communication between the Explorers' League and SI:7. To get the title of a coded book from Bill Spearshaker who oversees a special shelf, SI:7 agents must quote the title from a Steamy Romance Novel. Mathias Shaw, who considers the books "potboilers", suspects that Bill does this to sell more books and because he enjoys seeing the discomfort on Shaw's face. The odd choice of code has been nonetheless successful.

Stroking her generous rack? Grabbing his newly-exposed "sword" by the hilt? Positively engorged? I dare say this one has the most direct and brazen text yet of all the Steamy Romance Novels.

I was sort of expecting her to be in dragon form, though. Also, inb4 "Dracthyr can't be Mages!"

The title of the novel is a reference to the Elder Scrolls books "The Lusty Argonian Maid"; a novel of two volumes, about an argonian maid and her suggestive exploits.

Assuming it was penned by Zhakloskar who upon being clicked upon offers this

'This city is truly a wonder. And its inhabitants have--for the most part--been quite welcoming.

One even offered me a book. I assumed it would be a training manual, but instead it is a work of fiction describing the adventures of a character named Marcus.

We dracthyr were trained to be soldiers, and were given very little free time to pursue reading for the sake of enjoyment. But I like this book. Perhaps I may even try my hand at writing a story of my own!'
