The Métal de non-mort is used to repair a Lamented piece of gear. The Métal de non-mort is obtainable tru work orders. You get the Lamented Crusader from Zacket Brisecrâne Inside Naxxramas. (and he needs to unlocked first) This will turn the piece into a Desecrated piece of gear. After that you need to purify it by using Trame de phylactère.

The Trame de phylactère are sold from Zacket Brisecrâne Inside Naxxramas. The price is 2000 gold each. This is the most expensive part of getting tier 3. You will need a total of 1400 Trame de phylactère to craft a full tier 3 set. You can of course skip some stuff like fx bracers. This means it is a whooping 2.8 million gold in vendor mats alone. You need to take this into consideration before starting to craft your tier 3. You will also need other mats. For the complete guide read more here:

To get tier 3 from the Spallières d’écumeur ébréchées or any dented raider armor, you must hope it drops from it. You will know you got the item since its called "Lamented Crusader's XXXX" (Spallières de croisade déplorée) then you find your nearest crafter to make Métal de non-mort. Then after making that, you will receive "Desecrated Plate XXXX" (Spallières en plaque profanée). Now you just get the phylacterweave and righteous orbs, then you make your tier 3 item! NOTE: The tier 3 gives you the tier 3 depending on your class! So paladins get redemption armor, warriors get dreadnaught!
(I am not sure if this is 100% confirmed, but a friend of mine told me so I am taking their word)
