If you're thinking of grinding this, forget about it. The drop rate is HORRIBLE, and the stags that drop it are far and few in between. You're better off fishing, you can get fish for cooking skill almost every cast right in the starting area. This will take you 1-100. Once at 100, move up to lvl 20 water for Catfish, again, almost a skill every cast.

Flanchet de cerf sells for 15c or you can cook it and get Venaison séchée which sells for 6c... I think there is something wrong here.

Don't farm in Darkshore, even as Alli. There are way more in Azshara outside the Org rear gate.
