This felt like a nod to the popular "Do Not Open This Book" children's book series by Andy Lee. The monster begging you not to turn pages in that book is also blue.

Well, after I found multiple copies of it on several alts I just sent all of the books to one character of mine so they are not alone at least.

The character has been parked in the Goldshire inn as well, thus the booksies have plenty of travelling folks around to chat with (be read by?)!

Just looted it in 10.1. They removed all body horror, the book doesn't really die anymore (its "essence withers" and "story comes to an end", or whatever it is in English), and there is a mention of Aberrus. Wowhead still shows the old text for now

To achieve Bibliothécaire des confins you have to collect all the books listed there.
Most of the books are trivial because they can always be picked up in the open world.
However, three books come from the Zserka vault.

These books are NOT hidden in the treasure chests in the vault, but are lying around openly in the rooms.
However, there seems to be no guarantee that they will always be there.
With a character that has all books except Les Dieux très anciens et l’ordonnancement d’Azeroth (annoté), I searched a full vault without finding it.
Another character had already found the book at some point, but the other two had not.
This character has now also searched an entire (different) vault and found all three in a single run.

If you were in the vault with several characters, then it makes sense to look at this achievement for all of them and do it with the character who already has the rare book. The completed achievement counts for the entire account, but it must be completed on one character.
