Les cendres ont l'air de spawner 1 par 1 j'ai l'impression,

j'ai attendu 3 fois 17,19 et 32 min sur la même urne,

j'ai décider de faire le tour et a chaque fois, il y en avait une qui spawnait dès que j'arrivait

je pense qu'il faut faire le tour 1 par 1 et repasser sur les autres après en avoir ramasser une

ça m'a pris environs 2h

NOTE: Flèches d’Arak has a lot of areas that will be phased depending on your quest progress in the zone, if you cannot find Petit tas de cendres complete quests until you start to see stuff change. Zektar becomes visible after the quest Une audience auprès du grand corborateur.

The Petit tas de cendres can be seen and looted at level 60.

There are probably more locations that the ones listed, those are just the ones that have been seen.

These DO show up with the classic loot sparkles, which makes them much easier to spot. The respawn time doesn't seem to be too bad, or it might be a situation where there are always x number of ashes up at the same time.

As I was looking for my ash, I decided to check for other pots around the zone, as they seem to all spawn inside the pots full of purple liquid.
I compiled a list of all the spots, where I found the pots and the places others have put in comments here.
Not all the pots are confirmed spawn points, so I've put a different description on those.
If you use these, and confirm any of those, pls comment, so I can update it.

How to get the pet:

Step 1: Before you start, make sure you have done the Worlds of Draenor campaign quest at least 5/9. You can check from this achievement Travailler d’arak-pied. You can also confirm this by going to 52,40 in Flèches d’Arak and check if you can see Zektar. If you can see him, go to step 3. If not, go to step 2.

Step 2: Head over to coordinates 37,18 in the northern part of Flèches d’Arak and find Azik, who will give you the quest Les ombres de Skettis. Keep doing the quest chain until you are at least five out of nine from the campaign quests, where at that point you will have Anzu give you the quest Le culte des corborateurs. Go through the questline until you get to the quest Une audience auprès du grand corborateur, which will take you to visit Zektar and you are now able to purchase items from him. Now that you know you can see Zektar, it’s time to start the grind!

Step 3: To purchase the Talisman de cendres de phénix from Zektar you need one Braise de phénix étincelante, 20 Cendres de phénix inertes and 10 Cendres de phénix sacrées.
Braise de phénix étincelante - You can only get this item when the Cataclysm Timewalking is active. Find a raid group for Terres de Feu and defeat Alysrazor, who will drop the Braise de phénix étincelante for everyone in the raid group. No previous quests are needed to get the item.
Cendres de phénix inertes - This item drops from Elémentaire de brûlure at Fireplume Ridge in the center of Cratère d’Un’Goro. You are going to need 20 of these and unfortunately, the drop rate for this item is pretty low. Ideally you join a group and everyone can loot each other’s mobs. The Elémentaire de brûlure shares its spawns with Brasier vivant, so make sure you kill both.
Cendres de phénix sacrées - Head back to Flèches d’Arak and look around for cookpots around the area, and you will find the Cendres de phénix sacrées inside of the cookpot. These have a respawn timer of between 15 to 30 minutes, so if you don’t really want to be flying around empty cookpots, just sit and wait for the ash to respawn in a cookpot and keep doing this until you have all 10.

Step 4: Once you have the above items, head back to Zektar and purchase the Talisman de cendres de phénix. This is just one of the items you need for the pet.

Step 5: Next you need to collect 20 Plume cendrée and 15 Cendres de phénix incandescentes from the Rivages de l’Éveil.
Plume cendrée - To see these items, go to Eskrokar and purchase Amulette à plume cendrée. Using this item will give you a 1 hour buff enabling you to see Plume cendrée on the ground close to Oisillon de lave and Phénix de lave.
Cendres de phénix incandescentes - These drop from Oisillon de lave and Phénix de lave in the Rivages de l’Éveil. Item is a bit of a rare drop so be ready to dedicate some time farming these.
Tip: Purchase the Amulette à plume cendrée before you start farming the Smoldering Phoenix Ash and collect the Ash feathers at the same time.

Step 6: Once you finally have all the items, that is, 1 Talisman de cendres de phénix, 15 Cendres de phénix incandescentes and 20 Plume cendrée, head over to Tarjin l'Aveugle all over to the west side of the Rivages de l’Éveil, coordinates 16,62, where he will have a quest called La légende du phénix, which will give you the pet in exchange for the items you collected.

And gratz! You’ve got yourself the Phénix ailes-à-vœux pet!

For those who don't want to use map pins or don't have coordinates, the Sacred Phoenix Ash can be found in the pots of purple smoke. Here is a map that I made and labeled so you can check the locations without coordinates.

One thing I've noticed about these pots is you shouldn't check for the Ash in a hurry. The hit box is pretty small, so it's easy to hover over the pot and not notice it. (I'm color-impaired, so I guess there could be something I'm missing.)

Like some others have suggested, I finished farming mine from one cooking pot. To make it easier, I kept my camera angle faced looking down into the pot so I could clearly see when the ash respawned and started to sparkle. I also kept my Interact key set up so I wouldn't have to bother with hovering the mouse over and clicking it before someone else could get it, just be sure to stand close enough to the pot so that it will actually pick it up. The spawn times I saw were between 10-15 min so keep an eye on it pretty regularly. Several other people showed up regardless of me camping so it will still be contested if you're on a high pop server.

This might be an unpopular opinion but... what I did was - log in at 4 AM - fly around pin points - collect 5 ashes - go eat something, watch TV, come back 30 minutes later and get the remaining 5 xD

If you play Outlaw Rogue, the Petit tas de cendres appear on the mini map since outlaw has Découverte de trésors, dont forget to activate it in the tracking option of the minimap.

Definitely helps to be a hunter - not only for the ranged shots but also for the hunter tracking - elementals.

I killed 262 mobs in around an hour and got:
